Sorry for the delay in our reply as we were so swarmed in the past few weeks that we havent had time to login here. Though we haven't been very active here, news about us travel real fast as we now have many Sgbrides customers

Regarding your query, let me explain how IPL treatment has whitening effect. As IPL targets dark pigments on our skin and since our hair follicle is dark/black in color (compare to our skin color), when the light touches our skin, it hits directly on the dark pigments and lightens them, resulting in our hair follicle becoming thinner and thinner. This applies the same to our darkened armpits. As the patches on our armpit is darker than our surrounding area of the armpits, IPL is able to target the marks directly thus lightening it. Besides that, as IPL reaches deeper into our dermis and works inside out, it renews &amp; removes the dead horny layer on our skin therefore the skin is then able to completely absorb all the cream/lotion that we apply on. Therefore, we suggest customers to apply whitening lotion after IPL treatments to achieve the most ideal results.

i had mine done by a clinic - same price as 'strip' salon for my upper lip and underarm. Until now, one year since i had completed my treatment, no hair has grown in these area anymore! shiok!

I used the treatment called BBL - similar to IPL (at least the way it was done is the same as the one I did at Strip last time). They will shave the hair off, put cold gel and they will roll over a handle from a machine with pulsating lights. Ya, i was not supposed to touch the hair on my underarm and lips - they will need to assess the hair growth.

Before all these, I tried all other IPL - no use. The hair will grow again after a while and I had to keep paying for the retainer package - alot of money spent!

That's a good and valid question for a price so attractive and unbelievable like ours!

It's definitely for 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 armpits!! Being home-based, we are able to offer attractive prices and packages so that it will not be so taxing on our customers' wallets. I can't agree more with you that IPL at some outside salons are indeed ineffective and this is mainly due to the type of IPL machine used - not strong and effective enough to achieve desirable results. At our home-based salon, our customers do not need to worry as we are using an advanced model of IPL machine, widely known as E-light. Our E-light machine is equipped with IPL + RF and cooling system functionalities. The RF energy is able to penetrate deeper into the dermis (the dense inner layer of skin where your hair follicles are), solving the problem more effectively and efficiently. It also comes with a cooling system to the treatment head that works effectively and comfortably on our customers' skin as it helps in reducing the pain greatly during the treatment process

With such great power and efficiency, we are then confident to offer small packages with only 6 sessions as our customers will be able to see clinical results in 5-6 sessions. By clinical results, we mean permanent hair growth reduction as most of the targeted hair follicles are destroyed by then (number of treatment sessions required depends on several factors such as; the area being treated, hair thickness , skin type and color, hair’s growth cycle and density) While some individuals will enjoy complete hair-reduction with no possible re-growth, others will need a maintenance treatment yearly. However, re-growth will be finer and lighter in texture!

In fact we have many customers here with unlimited ipl sessions or much costly packages with outside salons but they stopped going because the results were insignificant and most shared that they were told to have their ipl treatment once every 2 months. This didn't really help as their hair would have grown quite a fair bit in these 2 mths and to avoid seeing the unsightly hair, they have to spend extra $ on waxing or shave it off themselves. I'm glad they are holding packages with us now and we are happy to solve their hair problems for them efficiently and effectively

To provide greater convenience to our customers, we will shave it for them before their ipl treatment. This way, we will also be able to understand our customers’ hair texture and based on individual’s hair condition, we may leave about 1-1.5mm unshaved so that IPL can target and capture it more accurately!

IPL is most ideal to solve ingrown hair and unsightly hair problem on a long term basis! After only the first IPL treatment session with us, our customers feedback that their hair's growth rate  is so much slower than usual &amp; I'm sure you can imagine the achieved results will just get better and better on subsequent treatment sessions. For some of our customers, after the 2nd-3rd session, they already don't see much hair and the growth rate can be as slow as 7-8weeks and of course, this depends on several factors; individuals' hair thickness, color, skin type &amp; color, growth cycle &amp; density
