Dreading the Guestlist part of planning.

Will you be doing ur ROM there as well?
My AD in Nov 2014 yes i paid the new pricings. $1138++ for lunch.
Going do solemnisation at the private foyer, and tea ceremony.
Headache about timing means I won't have time for 2nd makeup? Morning makeup to last until 4pm? oh noooo....

Anyone knows if FS got baby chairs and do they provide FOC? One table max how many baby chairs? Just thought of it.

Oh, didn't know lunch is $1138++, that's a very reasonable price for lunch.
Hmm, a bit regret didn't take lunch. I'm paying $139.80++ /pax for dinner.
How many march ins do you have? After solemnisation usually the bride disappears into her bridal suite to get a touch up then ask your make-up artist to stay till 2nd march in?

I guess the normal 2 march-ins?
Hmm but thinking of doing the TC after solemnisation but I think in view of time, might suggest to do it after the lunch. Otherwise no time to touch up. Even if my MUA stay till 2nd march in she also won't have time to redo my MU. I have MUA friend so hopefully she is able to help.
Wow this thread is very quiet.

Sorry but what's a TC?

Ahh, ok.
Why not do the TC before your solemnisation instead, then start earlier. If that's the case then you have enough time with the touch up before your lunch starts.
I don't think your relatives would want to stay until all your guests has left then start your TC.
Lol, this thread is indeed quiet.

Hi there,
I went for a wedding at FS last dec - individually plated menu (Chinese fusion menu, upon request only). By far the most memorable sit down wedding banquet I ever had.
Food was great, I was blown away by every dish that came out, that was also the reason why I chose FS. Service - impeccable, they were well staffed, I think more than the usual I've been to, also because maybe it was a long table setting. The hall itself is cosy and intimate. the only thing to complain is maybe the stage setup looks a bit dated but overall a fantastic experience.

Kaylynn was my initial coordinator which did a great job, very detailed and would call you directly to answer all your queries and revert all your emails. However she resigned and my new coordinator is Jocelyn, the whole process was handed over very well and i applaud them for so. Jocelyn knew all our banquet details without us updating her, so far so good. Again, very prompt to reply and I feel quite she's flexible, willing to do trade ins for our package. So far I have nothing to complain about my experience with all the FS staff.

Hi dreychieh,

All the best with your wedding planning. I had Lewis as my coordinator, after Kaylynn left, and he was great. He really helped move things along smoothly so that we had less things to worry about. So, you are in very capable hands. :)

Hi there!

Yes that menu was our initial choice. But a very expensive one, it was $164++ so after considering it for awhile, we opted for the western menu instead.
Let me see if I still have that copy of that menu.

My AD was back in June this year. I wrote a little blurb about the experience earlier in this thread.

Pearlyn, I did get a little worried when I didn't hear from them, but they actually have it all planned out, so not to worry.

Hi Sherlin,

Yes, they provide baby chairs. I think Lewis will be better at advising, but what I did was to slot in 1 chair as the 11th chair for a table. If that table needed more than 1, then it would be 9 adults and 2 baby chairs.

That ballroom is smaller, so would be nice for a cosy, intimate wedding lunch/dinner. The reception area seemed better than the larger ballroom, as it is more squarish, rather than a long rectangle.
