Hi. Can someone please share with me the latest weekend dinner package for FS? I'm looking at having my wedding early 2015. Would like to get a good gauge of the price.

Also would like to ask what's the minimum no. of tables required?

My email add is [email protected]

Thanks much!

Hi Joselyn,

You can expect a $100 increment from Mar 2015 onwards.

Is the reception area very cramp? Can set up photo booth there? Anyone got photo of the Peking Duck station? Enough for how many pax?

Many of the links previously in this thread are outdated cant view anymore...

Hi Sherlin,
The projectors are included in the package i think, however FS seems to have a reputation of being slightly rigid.
Both my fiance and I managed to make certain trade ins. Like we don't need the hotel to have our invitation cards printed by them, thus we asked them to give us more parking, from 20% to 40%.
The reception area is a little small I feel especially if you want to have a photobooth set-up and the peking duck station.
I went for a wedding dinner quite recently at FS, the couple had about 180 guests and the peking duck was more than enough, package includes 8 peking ducks, which I think is more than sufficient.
Sorry dear, I do not have pictures.

Hoped I helped.

Dear Pearlyn, thanks for your reply. I went to view the ballroom earlier. It was so beautiful.
Yes the projector is included in the package now. I don't really have much to ask for actually, probably just buy one barrel of beer.
We do not have to decide on the wines now I presume? There is one bottle per confirmed table, so during the banquet if not enough then we open and pay, that's fine right? Don't have to make the decision upon signing? Yeah the wedding invites & parking coupons they will up abit, abit of flexibility there.

Hi there, I doubt you get to "choose" the wine I presume it's their house wines but I could be wrong. However, they did waive the corkage for us for hard liquor, duty paid of course.
Yeah they would be happy to open more bottles I'm guessing. lol. They will inform you once alcohol is running out - your decision whether to open another barrel or not. How many tables have you confirmed? the beer seems more than enough I reckoned, besides most people would either go for wine or beer, never together.

I saw the wedding cards. 1 white plain postcard with "Four Seasons Hotel", 1 white card with "our wedding', and 1 red card with a small gold "喜".

Which design do you ladies typically choose? How do you print on the white plain postcard?

Me too.... :)
Hi welcome!

Will you be taking their wedding invitation cards? Which white one are you referring? "Our Wedding" or the postcard?

I think I will just take their red one as my mum says its nice enough and she will want us to print Chinese wordings too.

Hi Sherlin, we chose the red card. It looks good with gold thread. Pic for your reference.

Thanks Pearlyn, do FS provide the box too? I don't see it listed in the letter of agreement.

Eh they didnt gimme money box wo :(

Pearlyn, I am going with the cream cards... those that do not need to flip ones. Like a post card like that.

My friend printed her pre-wedding photo on the card and it turned out very pretty!

I want to ask, do FS change the colour for the chair covers every year? I saw that it's the platinum silver currently but I really dislike it. I rather have cream colour.

Dolphine, you can try asking I guess. I am printing my own cards instead :)
Sherlin, My coordinator told me they just changed chairs, the silvery white one, however you can choose the covers you want.
I believe they have creamed coloured ones, but i'm not using the chairs they have. Instead, I'm renting the gold tiffany chairs.

Silvery white sounds nice! Wow how much you spend on the Tiffany chairs? What's your theme?

A pic of the ballroom with the platinum silver/grey chair covers.

Oh lunch is a good choice! Love how light that pulls through the french windows during the day, really nice!
I spent $10/chair. Western menu with long table, not much of a theme, soft and romantic effortless kinda look I guess. Lots of nudes and watercolours.
Quite concern what kind of flowers the hotel is providing, also because it's a long table style, not sure how the placements of the centerpieces will be like.
So I've decided to ask my florist to add on more flowers and candles.

How about you?

I am taking the usual Chinese sit down lunch. I prefer soft and romantic theme too, prefer pastel-ish colour themes. I'm not really into the usual red roses set up.
Did you ask the manager to send you photos examples of how the flowers set up would be like? It would be useful so that you can plan from there.

No leh, I didn't, did you?
