Hello all! Just had my ROM at Windows East. No regretz!Everything was fantastic! Only thing the buffet food is not too good, for four seasons my guests had expected more.

Mailon: Congrats! I will be holding mine there too! How come the food was not good? I understand there are different menus?

Hello pebz, congrats to u as well! good choice on the venue! I took the international buffet package A (or 1).

the tortilla soup is quite bad, california maki is soggy and looks like it was prepared long time ago. a guest commented that the food feels like leftover from brunch. the meats are ok. desserts are ok too. i mean overall, i guess the food is ok, just not up to 4 seasons standard.

on the other hand, WIndows east is really very very nice and cosy. i started at 7pm and u can see the skyline changing from bright to blue (yes, i dunno y) to dark.

my guests loved the outdoor patio area where pple can mingle around and drink and smokers can get their oxygen there.

all in all, no regrets choosing the place.

pebz, who's ur co-ordinator and did u book a room there?

Hi joyjoy,
Have you put down any deposit yet?
Actually I already placed a deposit at 5k too.
Was trying to check if there is anymore increase in price for the 2010 package cos the time I book is based on 2009 package and was told the price will be change to the new pricing if there is any increase.

hi ladies
no regrets choosing FS..I had my wedding 1.5 years ago at FS..I held a luncheon and everything was PERFECT!
All the coordinators from the hotel were great!!!
I would still hold my wedding at Four Seasons if given a choice again...hehe..

@ Miamia
Hmm.. the package that we received from them, the weekday starts from 900+ (same as pebz)... but i haven't paid the deposit (supposed to do so this coming thur) so i hope they won't increase the price suddenly!

bubz: mine is Elaine Wong. She is on maternity leave so unable to check with her for YR 2010 package. Maybe your package is based on YR 2009 price cos I also got the same. Was hoping there will be another promo on the free wine again. ;P

joyjoy: FS is very firm on the perks. Tried negotiate every time I went down but no means no. Haha. But the place and the people really give a very pro service and feel. So no choice lah.

Mailon: My coordinator is Ginny. Think I need to re-look on the menus and feedback ya. I cannot have this kind of standard man. But mine will be morning and lunch..

Hi pebz, all

I'm not choosing Four Seasons, bec I dont feel the connection with the place n the people there..
They are also very hard to bragain for perks, not flexible..

and I also dont like the vibe " we-know-it-all-dont-need-to-customize-us" they gave me..

Wah.. FS always increase charges..

Last year when i signed for this Oct, corkage fee is $40 ler.. now u guys said going to increase to $50 ? *faint*

When i signing my contract, Elaine Wong did mentioned that pricing will based on 2009 pricing eventhough i signed in 2008. But luckily, prices came out on the same day. So straight away i signed based on the new price.

My price per table is 998 for weekend. it seems increase quite a lot ya..

But we can't deny that FS is a classy hotel, and their service is fantastic.

Coz i went for my photo shoot on 6 May. The cordinator came down and say hello and give us a complimentary parking coupon. Quite impress by them.

You didnt get any price increase for your Wedding in Oct? Cos I thought there will be a price increase for weddings after July 09.

That is why I signed based on the new price at 1038 per table for weekday dinner. Just hoping there will not be anymore increase for the 2010 package.

Yup, I agree with you on their service. Thumbs up!

MiaMia = I signed the contract on 7 Apr 2008. Theey have indicated the pricing of $998++ per table inside. Coz according to Elaine, this is the pricing for Oct 2009 in Apr 2008.

Corkage is at $40++

But once agreement is signed with indicated amount, the prices for table will not increase, unless your contract did indicate that prices will be depends on the current rate.

Actually, if u really like it, why don't u just sign it with them.

The wine promotions is due to closing of year promotions. Mean FS running the promotions to make sure all dates are occupied.

Bubz = Wah.. at least they can waive the beer for u.. me one cent also don't have.

Hi gals,
I had paid a deposit of 5k using credit card but I received a letter from FS stating only half of the deposit ($2.5k).

Is this normal? Or they will charge the remaining $2.5k when it near the wedding date?

Anyone of you here have this issue?

i checked out Four Seasons before but did not take up the hotel as they can only hold max 32 tables. however i would like to commend on the wonderful service with Ginny Khaw. She is someone you know you will be in good hands. if you are exploring FS, you can always look for Ginny.

just checked out the hotel - love the ballroom!

but as mentioned here dd not manage to get any waiver of corkage for alcohol - for those who held their weddings at four seasons, did the corkage cost run up to a big amount?

also, anyone tried the deluxe menu? am wondering if it will really pale in comparison to the other menus.

pebz

New Member
CK: Why don't you check with your co-ordinator on the estimate consumption of wine/beer? Then do a buffer from there?

cherrycoke

checked with the co-ordinator - he advised to estimate around 1.5 bottles of wine per table. just have to ross fingers and hope the alcohol consumption will not overwhelm us.

by the wa, has anyon tried the deluxe menu? would like to know whether it is good. am concerned cos it is the lowest tier :p

I am planning to wed at four seasons. Has anyone tried their in house florist's enhancements? Called Simon i think. Are they friendly/willing to work?

Another question, how does four seasons compare to St regis? If I want a cosy wedding which is better?

shiner > I do not have the seating plan but it seats a max of 32 tables. However, if you are looking at having a dance floor, the max would be 27 tables.

AVNAVN > Four Seasons is definitely more cosier than St Regis...I feel the colors are warm and smaller ballroom. I have not worked with Simon yet but I think should be ok.

bladers > My wedding is in July 2010 - $1,038++ (does not include wine/beer)
