Hi Chop

I totally agree. I wanted to mingle with the guests too so I kept the numbers small. Altho I did change into EG, before the reception and after the yam-seng , I was mingling. It's my wedding, so I want to enjoy myself and talk to all these people I care about.

Hi PlainGal
I sent you an invite to the album. Password is in the email to.

I'm also using their Cresent ballroom but doing a luncheon. Also considering the chocolate fountain as well as a small band if my budget permits that is.

Agree the small numbers of guest allows mingling and keep the whole event cosy.

Anyone know about the food quality too? I've heard quite a bit of the good service but few comment on the food....

Anyway, many thanks in advance.

Hi Mage, BS and Bubble1228
You've got mail.

Hi PlainGal
I chose to have the same layout/table setting for the VIP tables (including the bridal). The only difference is, I used a standee floral arrangements with candles at the bottom (ie on the tables). I've uploaded a pix of the VIP tables.

Hi BS
When I signed up, the chocolate fountain was an additional $600+++ for 100 pax. The Strawberry Ice Bar was also $600 fpr 100 pax. I can't recall how much the butler pass canapes were but I recall it was much more expensive. Best thing to do is ask FS.

Hi all,

I am also a Four Seasons bride-to-be!
happy.gif
This week I met my coordinator for the first time even though my AD is just 4 weeks from now (have been overseas while my fiance settled everything). What I want to say is... I am soooo impressed with their services! Top-notch! My coordinator is Elaine and she is really very friendly and nice. Feel at ease that she is our coordinator. Would recommend her to any future FS BTB.

I am using their FS ballroom for dinner. Just selected my layout/table settings. Opted for the gold and black layout and very happy with it. Haha we are just going to ignore if the elders mention anything about black being inauspicious. =P Hey black is the new gold of this century! =P

Most likely we are going to opt for the martini winebar for the cocktail reception. Looks so cool and special for a wedding! Don't think I have seen that in other weddings I have been to.
happy.gif
Has any FS Bride opted for this?

Another reason we selected FS is for the food quality. Think it is among the best of the hotel weddings I have attended. So rest assured for those wondering about the food quality.

Hi Chrisop,

I am so happy to see your remark after seeing a few of others and I am sure my choice for FS should not be wrong ...
happy.gif

My wedding will be Mar 2008 and when i attended their bridal show few months back, saw their Red & Black setting, thought it was really class & unique. Thinking of applying that to my wedding, long way though ... maybe by then they have other selections right.

I thought of Martini bar too but it could be out of my budget cos i am planning for a small band if possible.

Really hope to see your wedding photos cos so far, some of the lades have shared theirs and they all looked wonderful, that includes their hotel settings.

cheersss!!!!

Hi Chop and bubble1228,

Will share with you all pics of the hotel settings after my wedding.

Red and black is very nice, I did peep into the banquet room once before someone's wedding and setting looked so intimate and romantic.

I won't be having a band, will play piped music instead. Have some other thing in mind for my wedding dinner.

All the best to you in your wedding preparations! Have fun!

Ya mage, i attended the bridal show & i think it really look class & romantic but not many elderly can accept it lah. I was thinking since my is the small ballroom, i should be able to try the dark colour theme. I think red roses or white lily should look very gorgeos against the dark colour cloth....

Sorry Orangina. My mistake. I thought the package was available online but it isn't. Only the sample menu and what they provide in the package. Anyway, maybe others who booked recently can share their package because my coordinator told me they were going to change (immediately after I had put down my deposit) so I think my package is no longer current.

Hi ladies, my friend makes beautiful & unique RIng Holder, check her out:

A wedding ceremony is an event where one will wish to make it as memorable and unique as possible, I have come to notice that creativity and uniqueness can play a role in adding the ‘extra touch’ to a wedding ceremony.
I have a photo of the ring holder that I have made out of Swavroski crystals. If anyone is interested, please do not hesitate to email me at [email protected] for further information or should you have any questions. Or you can view more photos at www.pompom12.multiply.com

Hi Qian / Margiel / Fun Fun / JoJo,

Pls check your mailboxes.

So sorry. I was very busy for the past week... only manage to check the forum now...

Anyway, all the best
happy.gif

Chop, are we still on the topic of rings?
the ring holder is very nice
happy.gif

if i have the budget, i will consider having one of those.
I wasn't planning to get a ring pillow cos we bought our wedding band from Lee Hwa and were given quite a nice one (small though). Anyway, i don't really see the need to buy another one which will be quite a waste after our solemnization... but this very special! Something you can keep as display.

Hi, is there anyone that has just gotten hold of FS wedding cards? There were only 3 of them - 2 white (1 and 2 folded) and the other is red, quite disappointed though, as they are really too plain i find...didn't have the leafy type as wat the others are saying

I got mine 2 months ago. I have the leafy type of invitation cards... is it the one with the opaque tracing paper like material wrapping the main white card?

mage

New Member
For FS's invitation card, I prefer the 1 fold one... simple and nice.
happy.gif
but I still can't decide if I want their invitation cards or not.

All the 3 cards are made of those normal paper material, didn't have the type with opaque tracing paper though, don't know if it is OOS or what I have gotten is the new series of the invitation cards, quite disappointing...
Just asking anyone out there, did your FS coordinator call u up about these cards? or just mail to you?

rubberducky

tanlss, my coordinator called me up to let me know that my cards were ready for collection. (2 months before the dinner).

I'm also pretty disappointed by the FS' invitation cards. :p I've seen really nice looking cards from other hotels, so when we saw the FS', it was quite a bummer - such plain & boring designs! :p

We finally decided on the plain white one with embossing. Now am wondering if I should get my own instead...

Think I'm more or less set on my invitation cards... will get hubby to design it.

Can I ask about flowers provided by FS? What kind of flowers are included in the package? Anyone as pics of the flowers provided by FS?
