hi juan,

i read an article in a singapore bridal magazine some time back and there's this couple who had their dinner at fatty weng. they had a mid-autumn festival theme and it looks great! i hadn't been there for dinner or whatsoever but i think they have really good food since it has been established for so long. should be alrite to have a wedding dinner there.

Hi Juan,

I'm not sure about the ambience or the layout cos i had never been there before, just read about that particular wedding at fatty weng in a bridal magazine. I dun think fatty weng provide a wedding planner cos the couple did it themselves. they wore those traditional wedding costumes (those you see in period dramas -- huanzhugege type) and marched in to chinese opera. As their wedding was during the mid-autumn festival, they hang lanterns and had lanterns as the centrepiece.

I'm thinking of doing a chinese theme also (that's y i kept the article) but more of those 1960s type like hua yang nian hua like that. Thinking of doing the second march-in on bicycle (hubby cycle then i sit behind).

I think the ambience you can create it yourself. We can't possibly please everyone during the wedding.

hi juan, so sorry i did not take any photos as it was my fri's wedding. its 9 course dinner. They will display ur hubby and ur name on the stage. Not much deco is being done maybe my fri did not request. U can do ur reception at the main entrance of the restaurant. They do provide table and u can use their bridal room to change & make up.
