Father passed away - wordings for mum's name?

hi,

my dad passed away a few years ago. So now i am not sure how to put my mum's name. my MIL commented that if put my mum's sir name sounds like she is a divorce when she is not. so how?

Hiya, my dad passed away few years ago too.. I intend to put my mum's maiden name follwed by my dad/s..e.g. Mdm Jane Lee and the late Mr Wong XX.My in-laws name will come first, before my mum's.

Hi divasan, in fact you can surf the net. Just use google. Put phrasing for wedding invitation cards. They will have all the possible combinations

Hi divasan, how did you address your card in the end? Can you let me know? As i'm also facing this right now, and i tried google, but can't find the answer for both Mandarin and English.
