Hello I am considering eye bag removal procedure. so sick and tired of looking so tired all the time and don't want to look spiritless in my wedding photos.

i'm a bit frigthened, so can anyone did it before share their experiences with me?

I'm considering at BC NG or Woffles Wu. Not sure where is good though. Will it leave a scar? They say i can just do the procedure, about 1/2 hour, then go back rest for 3 days and can go back office after that.

you mean the doctors said that during consultation?
from the reviews online, the down time seems like 1-2 weeks, depending on individual.

Hello ya the doctors said that downtime 3 days, can go back office and in the case of bruising can cover with make up and more importantly, no exercise for 1-2 weeks..

i'm just wondering is the process frightening or painful or dangerous?

I wouldn't take risk during this period and remove it cos if it leave a scar, you will regret it.

As for me, i use temp eye bag removing cream. At least it wouldn't leave a scar on it and no pain.

I had my eye bags removed by Dr Ram at Camden and the result was amazing. I was recommended by a friend. He does it without surgery, using a optic fibre laser. No cutting or stitching. Recovery took only 2 days, just a bit of swelling, no bruise at all and really no pain. Eyebags completely gone. Nice experience. Should consider non surgical before cutting!

I am not sure if the procedure is called NILER or if it was a variation of it. I remember the doctor did mention that there are a few non surgical methods but not all are equally effective. He showed me lots of before/after photos which helped me to "see" the results. My eye bags were pretty bad, so it was very helpful to see the result of similar cases before deciding on treatment.

Hi all, Ive attached photos of my eyes. I tried to find something that has similar angle, the lighting is a bit different in the photos but I think it should be able to give a good idea of the result.

Hi Lily,

I am thinking of going for that. How much did it cost? :)

I removed my eye bags and I'm super happy with the results. The doc used the scarless method so the recovery was fast, only 1 day. I didn't bruise, the nurse says this is a new technique.

Even my mom wants to do it now :) You should ask for the scarless eyebag removal technique!

Does the eyebags come back after some time? Does it need regular maintenance? My mom wants to get this but she's worried about maintenance costs.

Eyebags don't really come back unless when one decides to have 3 hours of sleep every day. But as one age, there bound to have some form of saggyness of our skin that might be one of the cause for eyebags bah.

Hi, I have gone for the scarless eye bag removal less than a month ago and know 3 others who had their eye bags removed as well. Did consider NILER and almost went for it but in the end, I opted for surgery. Happy that I have finally gone for it. You can read more about my experiences here.

I would suggest you give yourself at least 1-3 months before the wedding to do this so that you have ample time to recover as some people might swell for a longer time, so even though the bruises would be gone in 1-2 weeks, the face might still look puffy and a bit "off".

The price would depend on your condition, the treatment option and doctor engaged. For mild to moderate eyebags with no skin tightening required, the scarless eye bag removal is viable, range should be around $3500-$4500, inclusive of consultations, day surgical fees, anaesthesia, surgeon's fee, medications and post-op reviews. Severe eyebags will have to go for the traditional incisional method, followed with skin tightening, prices could be above $6000.

Down time is a few days (can go back to work), but recovery (to go back to your normal routine) can take 1-2 months. I had my eye bags removed a month ago, so far so good, happy with the results. You can read more about my experiences at littlereddotbee. blogspot. com.

I'm also insecure about my eyebags. My friend suggested consulting a doctor about possible procedures I could undergo for my eyebags. I consulted with Dr Leo Kah Woon of Dr Leo Aesthetic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Good thing, I chose Dr Leo to perform the procedure. It turned out to be great. If you are considering eye bag removal, I recommend Dr Leo.
