I actually got timing problem. My MIL said 11am to 1pm is inauspicious time on my wedding day, so we either stay @ home or outside. I intend to have outdoor photo shooting. Problematic

Notice the schedule u sent does not have a slot 4 outdoor photo shooting.

Did u have outdoor photo shooting on your actual day?

Hi Shook,

No, i didn't have outdoor shoot on the actual day.

You can do this:

9am - groom picks up bride
9:30am - leave for groom's place for tea ceremony
10am - tea ceremony at groom's place (eat something)
11am - leave for photoshoot location
11:30am - start photoshoot
1:30pm - end photoshoot, head to bride's home.
2pm - arrive at bride's place for tea ceremony & lunch (you'll be starving by then).

Another thing is that we did the tea ceremony in my home first then my husband's home - to save time. our parents weren't that particular abt the timing.

Wake-up time depends on how long the hair dresser takes to do your hair.

In the end I woke up at 7am, hair dresser came at 7:30am. he needed only 1 hr.

The thing is my mum said we muz go to our love nest. So thot of going 4 outdoor photo shoot fm 11am to 1pm. Then go love nest then go to my mum's hse. By then it will b 2pm. Worried all my helpers will b starved to death by then. My mum said cannot

let my relatives wait till so late 4 tea ceremony oso.

Told my mum then 1pm go home 4 tea ceremony but I will change to tea dress @ home coz I wanna take outdoor shoot wif wedding gown. Will go love nest after tea ceremony. She said I very mah fang. Already took outdoor shoot 4 studio photo still want to take outdoor photo during actual day.

Another thing my hubby said his mum won't have catering 4 food. My mum definitely will. So, gotta go home 4 lunch. I v worried of my helpers' stomach.

You've already had your outdoor shoot?? then why want to take another one? it's going to be hot to death at 1pm and your makeup will surely melt.. hehe..

If you have a dinner at night, have you considered taking the photos at 4 or 5pm after you? ask your hair dresser to come earlier then you can have fresh makeup & hair for the photos. just a suggestion.

I wanna another outdoor shoot bcoz there will b my ah yi n my hubby's brothers taking the photos together. More ppl more fun. The studio outdoor shoot only my hubby n me. Bsides, I have different wedding gown on actual day, not the one I wore during ps.

My mum suggested dat I go Changi airport to take outdoor shoot on the actual day. She said got air-con, not hot

Your suggestion is gd. I will tell my hubby n discuss wif the photographer to c how it goes. Thx a zillion

Hi Shook,

My friend had a photoshoot before the dinner (abt 5pm). She included her relatives, her helpers (ah yees & brothers). Took the photos around the hotel. It worked out well cos since the relatives were already there, they had not much problems starting on time.

If that's what you intend to do, you'll need to let your hotel banquet coordinator know. they can suggest nice areas and provide ice water for your friends.
