Hey you might want to try out daily disposiable lenses or the monthly ones, the monthly is cheaper , ard $13 per pair but it is also more comfortable however it is less hygienic compared to the daily disposable ones , the daily disposable one are more expensive ard $2 per box i think , you might want to try both and see which one suits you better=)

Hi gals,

I've been wearing normal contact lens for more than 10 years, and reluntantly have to change to Astigmatism ones as my Astig is getting worse.

The Optimetrist reccomended Bioinfinity which cost me $350 for a year's supply - that is 3x the price of my regular Acuvue Contact lens (without Astig) - So heart pain!

If you have any other reccomendation for high power (900) contact lens with astig of 150. please advise yah! Thanks!

Hi all,

Had a really bad experience with Optic Focus in Toa Payoh. Basic service is lacking and attitude of the lady who served me is bad.

Really disappointed that to date in Singapore, there are still crappy service. Mind you, the prices in that shop is not that cheap either.
Only went there because it was recommended by a friend.

Must say its was a bad choice.

Here's my experience, went there to install lens for my spectacles which i have bought from some other place. After my spectacles are ready, i tried them out and realized the bridge of the spectacles need some adjustments, the lady was reluctantly adjusting the bridge and then told me it's not their obligations to adjust the bridge since i did not purchase the spectacles from them.
I was shocked and i told her nvm then, i will adjust it myself. Took the specs and left.

Here's another bad experience on Optic Focus from a friend, ordered a specific brand of contact lens & paid the deposit. Went to collect the contact lens 1 week later and was told the specific brand (Cheaper) which he ordered was out of stock. Their only option available to him was to top up money for a more expensive brand of contact lens. No choice since deposit already paid and cannot be refunded.
Felt cheated by them. Unethical staff.

I definitely will not go there again or recommend any of my friends to that shop.

Really puzzled why this shop was highly recommended by some users.

I understood the staff from the shop do read the comments in this forum. Maybe after this feedback, future users can benefit from better service.

I have been to other shops that would go the extra mile for service even though I'm only installing the lens for the specs.
