I love that place! Too bad, it is logistically challenging for me if I choose that venue.
I have booked my BS and banquet only. I plan to engage a profession emcee who comes with actual day coordination. Currently, I am looking at the various VG. How about yourself?

I am booking an emcee from Corazon events. He hosted my friend's wedding and he is very engaging. That's why my partner and I decide to engage him.

We have decided to skip the gatecrash. But I'm still worried we will be quite rush as we live quite far apart and I'm thinking if there is enough time to travel back and forth and to OCC.
Is your ROM going to be on the same day? Maybe you guys can start the day earlier so that it would not be so rush on the AD.

Echoing basiclove's question, how far is your place to OCC? Another solution is to do tea ceremony at OCC.
im thinking of doing only the parents tea ceremony at home. the others will be at OCC after the solemnization.
@basiclove My date is 16th Dec 2017..yes i know Dec is a popular month for Wedding. So far i have visited Raffles marina CC and Qianxi grp under Bukit Batok CSC & gombak home teams. All these places are research by me, i am waiting for my partner to recommend his research so that we can go down for viewing, but so far he is still sitting on the eggs and warm it..

No worries. Each have their own preferences.
As I went there previously for their wedding shows n have tried their food samplings n it taste really nice. But most importantly, they provide great perks n therefore I signed the wedding package with them.

I have booked my venue with Pan Pacific Singapore. I think you need to quickly do the booking of venues cause the date is very popular. I booked mine in Apr this year. I have also booked my PG, VG and BS.Hi @basiclove high 10!

I booked Knottin visuals, kind of like a freelance photographer. Yes most of them will ask for a small amount of deposit just to secure your desired date.
I'm going ala carte, so haven't really looked at gowns, etc. Still got some time for that

Generally, December is a hot date not just for wedding banquets, but also company Dinner & Dance.. so it is best to book early.

I booked my BS with Whitelink and my AD PG is together in the package. VG is with Iriswave,

You can PM me on the rates but I think on average, the reasonably-priced photographers are around 2k and below for AD depending on the types of service you need, i.e. some pack in goodies like a print out album, same day edit photo slideshow, etc. But of course if you'd like to engage the more famous ones you can expect a bigger price tag

What is your budget for AD photographer? Before you take up your BS's service, you may want to check on their portfolio first..
1088 is actually considered quite cheap for actual day. How many hrs of service did they offer u?
i agree 1k+ is quite cheap. i was quote 2k with the AD bridal shop for 1 photographer & 1 videographer (10hour both)

$1k+ is cheap, but it is essential to look at the quality too. The current rate for AD PG is about $1600-$2000 based on my understanding.
I am also a 23rd Dec bride. Where are you holding your banquet?

btw u book your venue super early, i email-ed to marina around september, they say Vanda room is already booked on 23. ask me for alternative date. lol

I mean $1600 - $200o for actual day photography only. For 10 hours VG, f2 manpower, it can range from $1300 - $3000.
Yes, I have booked my venue at Vanda Ballroom, Marina Mandarin in March, and I am doing lunch.

I have booked my banquet venue, BS and actual day VG and soft-booked professional emcee service. My AD PG is included as part of the BS package. Other than these, I have done nothing else and leave the rest of the planning next year.
May i know how much is your AD package with photographer?

My BS package costs $4988, comprises of PWS, AD and AD PG ; emcee costs $800 for senior Emcee. It comes along with wedding coordinator and banquet coordination.
my price is around there $5088, with AD , AD PG , AD VD & morning highlight.
