For many sentimental reasons, the past week has been a little tough to walk through as we prepare to clear things up. 6 years, has been rather long. But on the brighter side, it has been a major spring cleaning. We will be moving on to a new space, and we’ll need some time to warm up. Bear with us! We are keeping our spirits bright and colorful
We had a wonderful time mingling with all the couples during our macaron painting workshop @wed_elf! An experiential session where couples get to have a feel on working with edible paint, and I must say, some have really worked out of their comfort zone within a short span of time, and went really creative & playful with their painting! We love it!

CAKE X CULTURE
The first out of the 3 designs we’ve worked on for @fellowfolks photo shoot. It always excites us whenever we get the opportunity to explore cake in a different form. While the idea was brewing and formulating in our heads, we had to make a tough decision of whether to keep the cake round or squared. We debated, “square has 4 sides, it’s inauspicious”, BUT “each cake consist of 2 sides of 4 squares, that equates to 8 (huat). It’s not inauspicious after all.” BUT “no one has a square cake for a Chinese wedding!” After the long commotion, we settled for the square (with NO RAGRATS), and picked out the colors of maroon & golden yellow, alternating at each stack. Most of the embroidery work were inspired by the handworks from the various qipao selection from @huayinsilk. We took 2 weeks to decide on the shape, patterns, colors and the size of every tier. Now, finally, we are here to present this treasure to you #buttercreamembroidery
