btw, cld i also ask if the table set up (ie the glass panel & the paper beneath it, which my guess is the menu) is part of conrad's deco or was it upon special request? it's really unique..

Thanks! I'm not too sure about the top-up coz my hubby did most of the co-ord, perhaps it's best to speak with your co-ord direct...the table set-up glass panel was for the VIP table all arranged by the hotel

I think Conrad's classy look is mainly cream, and having champagne roses lit up the walkway and the stage...also matched my wedding gown

btw, your black theme ballroom looks awesome! wished i had the guts to do it fully black. i opted for cream seat covers, black table cloth n gold runners with red flowers instead.. but going totally black looks so much more stunning!

Thanks for your well wishes! Yep, my big day is over...autumn theme went lovely!

Church was beautiful!! The colours, the amazing sunlight...Haa, still in the process of uploading the pics we've got from friends, we just got back from a short trip to Phuket (which was divine!) and I just started work as well! Hee but I can't resist putting up some pics here to share with you! And will definitely be updating our site soon!

Thanks babe! Many people loved the black theme and everyone had a ball - we've had post-event comments that it was intimate, romantic, cosy, beautiful, stunning - I think the team at Conrad did a fantastic job!! Can't wait till our pics from our photographers get back too!

hello all, chanced on a wedding dinner at Conrad last Sat. it was lovely. the ballroom was cosily lit and the floral arrangement was amply full, not sparse like some others I've seen. Overall feel was intimate cosiness amidst a backdrop of grandeur. Lovely.

Our wedding date is 27 Jan 2007. Was informed that both lunch and dinner is taken on that date. This date is of significance to us and we try best as we can not to change it.

Well, we're saying a little prayer that the couple who is celebrating their wedding dinner on 27 Jan...just...might want to change their date!

I wonder if any of these 2 couples are in this forum?

Btw, anyone done a LUNCH wedding at Conrad before? How is the feel? Understand that lunch is usually treated as less formal than dinner.

The team at conrad were fantastic! Initially it was down to The Four Seasons and Conrad for us, but we chose Conrad in the end because we felt the team was more personal in a way even though Four Seasons was lovely too! And everyone had a ball at the dinners - that definitely made our day too!

Really enjoyed our wedding! Tip: Relax, and just have fun coz I really did!

hi everyone!

i juz had my wedding at conrad and it was a wonderful experience! my co-ords had praises for my banquet manager and the whole event went smoothly. there were of course some minor glitches like the waiter served some guests whisky thou they had requested for brandy & perhaps the food cld have been better but then again, nothing is perfect.. at least it was almost close to perfect!

overall the entire day which started fr church all the way till dinner went by really really fast and i was definitely very happy that it was a day with good weather.another factor which contributed to the success was that my helpers were fantastic... so a tip to all of you, make sure ur helpers for the day are responsible & quick enuf to be able to assist with the many adhoc changes and also do give all of them a thorough briefing abt 2 days before!

wish all conrad BTB a wonderful wedding ahead!

hi all,

I just had my food tasting session on wed. Overall comments abt the food was good. I love the prawns & scallop dish. Wished I could have MORE of that. The suckling pig was gd also. Thin and not oily and the sauce is gd. I ate more cos I knew on AD wun be eating much of the foodie!! hee hee hee..
