Has anyone done a church wedding without reception? Just solemnisation. Any feedback from your guests?
Hello, did you manage to have a church wedding without reception? Am thinking of that too, since my church service is 1-2.15pm. Would love to hear your experience :)

Hi ladies. I'm thinking of that too. My church service is 9 to 1015. When is your actual day?
Mine is 21 Apr 2018. Which church are you in? Mine is in SPP :) And it'll be a 1.30-3/3.30pm Mass of 400 - 450 people. Am thinking to have a photowall set up and maybe drinks at the only available reception area in church which only houses 170 pax standing. you?

Mine is 16th December. Not my church actually. My HTB. OLPS. Ours is 0900 service. Since I'm doing banquet lunch. I thought of scrapping tea reception. But his mum is not very pleased with the idea. Mine is small scale. Maybe 100 odd only. You definitely have a lot of guests!

I thought of just catering desserts after service but family and friends said it would be better to provide a mini buffet spread cause the elders would appreciate you providing some food for them...
ended up catering~

My wedding is in july 2017 so cannot feedback... I'm using CJS. been to 2 weddings that used CJS. Food is quite good. Not as top notch like Lavish but I personally feel it is above average.
