Hi Apuppy , thanks so much for your help. Now i cant wait for my wedding! very exciting....I have am coordinating to have an outside wedding decorator in and i am hoping they can provide me more time for setting up.

hmmm..yeah i think she said they can only get back to me for their decorator after chinese new year!

I have the chalet booked too.. i cant believe that there is only 6 chalets available! its kinda cute and private which is good actually. I dont know how it looks like inside though!

any one here had less than 30 tables but was able to use the ballroom? need to pay rental fee right? really appreciate if any one can help me on this. really interested in chevron ballroom, live nearby also. heheh. thanks!

Hi all

I had a relative who held her wedding at Chervons. The ballroom is quite nice...high ceilings, no pillars

So not to worry abt dat.

Lydia, perhaps u can try asking for 28tables + 2 reserve? I rem my relative booked her for abt 29 tables + 2 reserves. And if some of ur tables are not full, u can combine the total number of ppl & see how many empty tables u have left & can go back to eat another day.

Chalet is not bad. My relative had hers near the swimming pool. 2 storey high. I rem seeing a tv & a fridge with sofa. Nv manage to see the 2nd floor thou. She used the 2nd floor as her makeup & gown-changing area.

If u wan to book the chalet at a lower rate, get someone who works in mindef as a specialist to book for u. But when checking in, this person has to do the check-in. When u book out, it can be anyone.

Hi Desired to know myself,

My AD is this coming 13 sept @ Chevrons also.
I heard the Gim Tian restaurant didn't manage to renew their 2008 contract with Chevron. Thus, you may want to source for other wedding venue.

Alternatively, you may want to call up the restaurant to verify this piece of news.
