HI yesterday i found a shop at far east plaza #03-124 which sells trendy and many design cheongsam quite suitable for teadress. I bot mine at $219. Their prices range from $99 to $300plus. Also got MTM if u want. Also can alter if u want.

I did mine as a MTM thru my bridal studio. U could ask ur BS to do MTM for u too. Think it will be cheaper than to get all your gowns thru bs and then get ur cheongsum separately with another person.

Should not be a prob to change to CS right after u have taken pic with all the tables.... just sneak up to your room and change!

Not too sure if there's any tradition about wearing the same CS but I intend to do so when I hold my banquet back home

depends on how many tables u have.. if u have many tables.. then table phototaking will be long so u may wanna start phototaking earlier. Then after finishing u can quickly change into ur cs so that u can come down in time to say bye bye to ur guests

Hi twinstars11, i didnt tailor made. I tried on some pieces at the shop. Then found one which i liked a lot and the boss gave me a discount!
so bought it on the spot. Yeah, the lady who's tending the shop is very young. But she's very nice! It cost me $380. Although they claimed the selling price is > $400.

MTM a full lenght cheongsum at Mama Misse is $280 excluding material. I would say this is more affordable as compared to other branded taliors who will send the cheongsum to china for making.

Besides international plaza, they have 1 shop at people's park

I attended a wedding dinner at Ritz las fri, saw this really tall girl(not the Bride) in a rather refreshing gown. I walked up to her and ask where she got her dress, she said something like MAMA & MISS something at International Plaza, and she also mentioned that the shop does CS at a affordable price below $150. Her gown was slightly more, and the design is a mix of Badgley Mischka and Vera Wang, very nice...
