Hi
Would like to seek your advices on a minimal, budget wedding...

Anyone can please advice on:
- Tailor made WG / EG (any to recommend)?
- Personal photographer
- Any caterers - as I intend to have a small scale of about 50 - 80 guests for outdoors?

Thanks!

Hi Cheryl, I just visited and reviewed Pikastyle @ pikastyle.blogspot.com for wedding gowns.

It is a home-based business at Bukit Panjang, so you can imagine with business rental out of the way, the gowns can be really affordable. You are looking at between 100 - 300 for rental, with alteration. Makeup is at extra, I didnt ask in detail. But no MTM; all ready-made dresses.

In my experience (I engaged a bridal designer for MTM and the process is so stressful and expensive), MTM does not always mean better than OTR. If you are easy to please, ready made dresses and perhaps a little customization to your liking (like extra crystals etc) will do the trick at affordable cost.

Choices at Pikastyle are limited, but they are all nice and good for XS - small L brides. Take a look at the website or my review at http://www.singaporebrides.com/forumboard/messages/1/1842946.html?1326296085

Hope it helps you, really! ^.^ Have fun.

Hi budget brides
I'm holding on to gowns for sale at my place, helping my friend who owns a bridal boutiq to sell off gowns (first and second hand) in good condition, at $50. She has too many gowns so would like to make some space.. The gowns r surprisingly goood
Pls email [email protected] to make an Appt to view during last week november

To all budget brides, you can consider "borrowing" someone's condo function room (the newer and nicer ones) to have your simple wedding reception for about 30 to 60 pax, cos first the rental is nominal or free, secondly, the catering options are plentiful and not restricted so you can choose the cheaper ones and parking is free too
