Braces(ORTHODONTIST)

The ubi dental does NOT have orthodontists if I'm not wrong, it's jus a dentist.

I wud recommend u to seek professional orthodontist instead for a better consultation.

Hi Lin!

Dr Oh was my dentist when he was still working in Yishun. Nice guy and gentle too. Would still go back to him if he didn't move so far...

Im on braces for 19 mths already.. hoping and counting down to the day that can take out the brackets.. wonder will it be done within 2 yrs anot lei.. another 5-6 mths to go.. i hope that can faster.. so i can start planning for my wedding.. some of my frens told me tat they done their braces treatment earlier than the expected..afterall i still quite happy wif the job done by my ortho.. thumbs up ! jus tat my teeth seems slow in moving lei.. haiz.

That's why braces very importatnt to do early age... cos bones are softer can move faster.. time is everything for this braces treatment.

Anyone know of any treatment for receding gums? I have this gum condition near my wisdom tooth.
Hope to get it treated if there's any. Else, I'll lose both my wisdom and the one beside it

I just went through this ordeal. Unfortunately, I found out I had TMJ only after it was activated by having my braces put on. So I spent the last 3 months in constant pain. Definately make sure you get a good knowledgable orthodontist that specializes in TMJ to handle your ortho work. The one I found is H Clifton Simmons III in Nashville TN, but I'm sure that's a bit far for you to go. I would look for one that is certified by the AACP (American Academy of Craniofacial Pain). They have a referral list on their website. Make sure to research the ones near you though, as I found that while some are members they may not deal with TMJ as much as others. The bio pages they have there show what percentage of their work is dealing with TMJ.
