Big size dresses for ROM

anyone knows where to find big sizes dresses. need one for my ROM
other than MTM. anywhere else can buy off the shelf? appreciate anyone to advise

u can try Dorthory Perkins or Topshop ? I think they carry the size up to 20 but it is not cheap serious as compare to the price that u MTM. MTM will be more worth it

i tried dorothy perkins also. but their clothes not so suitable for ROM. they dont really have dresses. recently they have one.. cost 96.. just a plain simple linen white dress. goodness. capped sleeves somemore..
yesterday i went city plaza.. eeek.. no tailors and nice dresses too
i getting desperate.. and moody about it..
my fiance is puzzled why we women get so jittery over such things... grrr hehe

i can understand how u feel lah ... my fiance also feel that way but have u really consider MTM and what is ur budget ? Have you tried Mark and Spencer or Robinson?
I got my ROM gown from Joan Allen Brand. They had size up till 20.

hello all
i am back from HK. I thought can go there and tailor a dress. my gosh.. so expensive..so didnt do it... now im back to square one. my ROM is 29 July. Only one and half months away.
Help! help! its cos of my budget.. and not willing to spend alot on a dress.. anyone has any idea where sells nice big size dresses or cheap MTM tea dresses? i tried dorothy perkins.. M&S... robinsons... all not formal wear enough

you can try city bridal @ IMM also.. they have some gowns for plus size brides... rental ard S$180, i think... i went down and tried some of them... but FH preferred me to do a MTM dress... so i took up the ROM package with JHC instead... praying hard that the dress will turn out fine..

I think us site got so many nice dresses...actually i wanted to get my ROM dress from US site like torrid & wetseal... but my SO prefer to get together with bridal packages... will be going down to see the ROM dresses soon ... if nothing i like, think i will order from US sites too.

I just went to Jazz Collezione at Sun Plaza, next to Sembawang MRT. The shop is near the entrance, next to Delifrance. They have very nice evening gowns (both long and knee length). The prices aren't bad. You can try to ask for a discount if you really like a particular dress and they do slight alterations such as hem alteration for free. They have sizes to XXXL which I think should fit one with waist of about 36 or even 38. Hope this helps )

Er, there is a shop that sell some plus size grown in chinatown, it is like a weddding traditional shop got some nice plus size grown that, you can drop by, should be cheap there bah, it is the chinatown market level 2 opposite OG.

So far, i personally order few items from them, all very lovely. Think it is easy to get our size off us site, lovely dress within our budget loh. My ROM in Dec, i got mine from ROM Packages. Going to try the OTR ROM dress, if nothing fit or nice, then i going to order from US Site too for my ROM.

i highly recommend city plaza at paya lebar....
lots of nice wedding gowns there... cost ard $100+ and full of details like crystals, roses etc.... i bought my rom dress there, $150... and it fits size s to XXXXL cos behind is those cross string tie back, so can adjust e size 1...
