Hi brides/grooms-to-be,
I don't know how else I can warn you guys except through Singapore Brides' Forum. I hope this is OK with SB brides.
Anyway, I would really just like to let you guys know to be careful of Do-Wed Planners and wedding planner, Sherwin Lee. Believe you guys would've already heard about his recent scam. Scamming began with his academy (i won't go into details because i'm not his victim there *click here if you'd like to read about it*) and I strongly believe that has affected his wedding planning.
My fiancé and I signed up with him earlier this year. In the beginning, he has shown difficulty meeting deadlines that he set for himself - e.g. on checklist, hotel hopping, budget proposal, but now, he's avoiding us entirely. He switches off his phone at intervals now and even if he has his phone switched on, he will not answer any calls. He's not replying text messages or whatsapp messages.
He has made our wedding planning extremely distressing and upsetting. I really do not wish for him to hurt any more couples. So please, take note of the name 'Sherwin Lee'. There's a photo of him in the news article about his scamming incident with his students.
With that, I hope couples who've already signed up with him, all the very best! We will do better without him!
And to those who did not, good luck in your wedding prep!
On the bright side, not everyone that we signed up with are like him. We've got some really great reviews on our pre-wedding photography so if anyone is interested, just ask!
