The show flat at punggol is indeed very nice. It looks better than the photos posted, very resort kind of feeling... its catually playing around with design and materials... not difficult..

hi Jasmine, my reno involves basic carpentry works, storage cabinets and painting for the whole house plus some other miscellaneous stuff . My budget was not more than 10k and Mike managed to get my reno done within my budget. Try to get Mike for a quote and tell him your budget as he will work around it.

i talked to mike too... was quoted 32k for my 131m2 execu. 5 rm, i did parquet for 3 rms and homo for living and kitchen plus balcony. walk in wardrobe w alumix, platform for bed, full ht shoe cabinet plus seatee, full ht display cabinet( glass). is the price ok from all ur experience?

I find hie quote quite reasonable. For the same thing, White D'zingo can quote my almost 30k while Mike quote only 10k.

actually i am deciding between Baroque and another ID. In terms of price, the other ID's quote is closer to my budget.
My other concern also the designer service..especially after signing the contract. Like how helpful and responsible they are.

Me just signed with Baroque last wkend.. so far so good.. hope during the renovation is carried out smoothly.. (will only starts in Oct)
My ID is Mike.. a patient guy and not pushy... can look for him if interested... Just let him know introduce by Elaine...
Currently they have promotion for the 100 customer(but dunno if the quota is met already).. Find that their quote are quite reasonable...

hi everyone, tomorrow, Andy is cmg over to my place to measure the kitchen area. We are doing up our kitchen cabinet again. As Mike is busy, he has sent Andy to measure it for us. Please, please tell me how your dealings with Andy is. I am only doing the kitchen cabinet. Thanks heaps in advance!

Peanuttz, i've been liasing with Andy too since mid June till now ;D I find him ok lar..im also still deciding, takin my time since my keys are not ready yet..He had done a few units with exact layouts like mine hence alot of things/potential problems plus those measurements, he's v familiar already. But seems like Baroque's overall service seems alrite despite different IDs..

I'm considering them too. So far the quotation is ok and they're willing to do 3D drawing without deposit. But when i went to view a showflat that they designed recently i wasn't too impressed by both the design & workmanship leh!

Just to share with you people on my experience with Baroque Design.
I requested to work with Mike. But he is overwhelmed by the no of the projects that he is handling, he passed our renovation quotation to Andy.
Though, i only met up with Mike once, i must really say that Mike knows his stuff (tho he is not so much into designing). He can tell us which brand of tiles are good and why they are good, blar blar blar.
True, the quotation from baroque design is rather reasonable. But i find the consultant whom we worked with is not very forthcoming. But he is very nice and accomodating. But the feeling that he portrays is that he is not very enthusiastic about getting the job. Well... such perception could be subjective. For your guys to judge for yourself.
Initially, we have our intention to sign with Barique Design. But they do not seems very forthcoming about their service. So we passed the renovation work to another ID who is very enthusiatic and proud of her work. But they are rather expensive.

For those engaged baroque, did u pay $800 for the haulage fees, $200 for acid wash and $200 to remove debris?
Some IDs never charged for the above, tts why i find it strange... anyone care to advise?
when u really engaging baroque, at e stage when discussing wat to do and not u had to do a bit of bargining, normally they can foc for u or reduce e price.

service is good, but workmanship u may need to do some monitering n inspection on ur own side too.
there may be some loops.. no ones perfect anyway..

I took up their service too. Initally, I like their service very much but now, I am a bit disappointed.............They are too busy and they do not have much time to follow up every details. So, dun rely too much on ID. Need to follow up every details by ourselves. Otherwise, would end up like us......We did not keep track the progess and leave everything to ID. Now, something we dun like but we cannot change at all.

Hi Toot, thanks for u understanding for not to disclose the ID name.(tried to PM u but cannot) It is alright to take their services but kindly do closure follow up on every progress. This is the price we have to pay for since their quote is slightly cheaper than others. So, no need to worry.
