Ban heng at harbourfront or pioneer spring at safra club, any advice?

hi i just went to Ban Heng at Harbourfront yesterday for a friend's wedding dinner. The food is not bad, just slightly starchy =) The service is not bad too just that if you start late, they will hurry you to eat. But they are very efficient and fast in their service.
The environment is not bad too, just take note that it's hard to find a parking space if you hold ur wedding on sat nights.

i just went to view their venue yesterday. They have two halls in total. Main hall can occupier upto 60 tables, 2nd hall can occupier around 20-30 tables. Overall ambience is nice but the mortage is not clear enough.

I just Book Ban heng for my ROM ..
I've just booked my banquet at Ban Heng today. As they are having their wedding roadshow this weekend, they are offering us really good deal.
My date is one of the hot dates in September and they did not charge us extra because of that. We managed to nego for free flow of beer & wine, plus free one night hotel stay and free food tasting for 10 pax with min 20 tables for the $588 nett package.
We've seen the smaller ballroom and find that it's quite nice with it's own reception area where by the lift is and the entrance from the carpark area.
The person I signed with was Candy. She's really a nice lady to give us such a good deal. She said that the restaurant is going to slowly increase more items and selection for the wedding stuffs, so that is a good news for future couples.

No complimentary carpark coupons, but it's $2.40 per entry after 6pm, so no worries about it being too expensive.
More wedding stuffs as in options for the type of theme/decorations. And also heard that they will be changing the stage/stand for the smaller ballroom.
You should really see their menu, it's really worth the price, not like other restaurants/hotels where they offer "less quality" food for similar pricing and location.

Oh, was it? I really don't know. The last time i went was in end April, that was when i've signed and Candy told me that they are going to renovate it. Perhaps they have yet to renovate it as of yet, cos my coordinator did mention that they are changing it slowly.
I may be going down to sign and confirm the contract with them on Saturday or something. Will take a look again then.

hi all , though maybe its abit late but i like to share our horrible exp with ban heng for our wedding banquet. Totally ruined our wedding banquet. On actual day, their sounds system was in total chaos, their speakers producing music is painful for the ears, spotlight for groom & bride during march in out of position for BOTH march in . And worse, they never admit that their sound system is in a horrible state. Instead blamed on our CD song that made the horrible music.
