Hi nicole,

I had a colleague who had her wedding at ACM. Was very nice and special.. She had the ceremony in the church on the 2nd floor and a reception party in the courtyard.

hi thks. which part of the ACm did sheuse? DO u know the name cos there are several different parts there. and did she hold a dinner or solemnisation? Day time?

She actually did both.. the ceremony was in the church on the second floor and the dinner was at in the glass room near the courtyard. It's was a buffet style with free sitting.. v cool and different. I can check with my colleague for more details if you need more info.. The ceremony was in the late evening and the dinner started there after.. if i remembered correctly, the food was served at abt 7 plus..

I'm planning my ROM/wedding dinner possibly at the ACM River room. Can you share with me some pictures and comments on the room? Are they very big? How's the views and do guests have parking?

The room is pretty huge, can put about 17 tables in total. Very nice and warm. i will email you the pics later.

I have sent my pics to your email.

I have total about 170 persons. I spent in total about less than $60 which it includes table, chair, decoration and flavors.

Now their charges has change, their rates includes rental of terrace, so if you gals has less than 200 guests than not quite worth.

Qian, if you have 20 tables, i think you also need to make use of the river terrace.

Hey, I was just reading this email, I just came back after covering a wedding at ACM .. very nice the place . infact .. Looking through my photos now .. wow.. love the settling . The couple have entire 2nd level to themselves. 1 area for receptions and further in is for western dinner.

Hi, I am thinking of having my solemnisation lunch on 4th Oct 2008. Just wondering if anyone is keen on having their solemnisation or wedding dinner on 4th oct 2008 evening at the same venue?

I would love to decorate the place with beauitful flowers and will make it more worth it if someone who is having the weddind dinner on the same day to work out something so that it will be more economical.

Friend of mine also have a thought about having it there. I sure like the ambient over there . 9 Course western dinner .Although , I forgot who is the caterer. But I sure like that place .. 1 of the best beside 1 fullerton hotel

So sorry I haven been logging in for long time, after wedding have lots of planning.

I cater my food from Rasel Catering, all most guest compliment for the good food and services provided. They even help me to book ACM at no additional cost which save me alot time. You might want to call them up for quotation, look for Elsie and tell her that you are recommand my me "Richelle" she should be able to remember me, I just order some food from her yesterday for my baby full month.

hi, am considering using ACM for solemnization & wedding reception. does anyone know the charges for setting up a marquee & chairs for 150 pax at the river terrace? also, if solemnization is held at the terrace, if there any PA system provided there? thanks in advance

Hi,

For those who's thinking of booking ACM for wedding or solemnization, go for Rasel. They can help busy couple like us to book ACM at no additional charge and ACM representive seem difficute to get hold of them. I book mine through Rasel too... im having my wedding @ ACM on the 3rd Oct 09.Im with kristoxx and their service is excellent! ACM incharge can look for jerald he is also very helpful though its hard to get him as they need to ran about.He will reply email within a day so no worries.

Good venue if you like outdoor and small wedding

Hello everyone,

I am interested to have my wedding at ACM, but my question is will there be enough time for the decor/caterer ppl to set up the place if i book it for 4hrs? Or will ACM charge me extra to setup? Say if i book ACM from 1-5pm... does that mean that we have to leave by 5pm? Anyone who has experience, please share. Thanks

usually if u book 1-5pm means u have to leave by 5pm, same as for hotels 7-11pm for banquet means u cannot start earlier or end too late. because their wait staff only have so much time to clean n pack.
