i've tried special K cereal, it taste good but I didnt eat it for losing weight. I just love crunchy cereal. As for losing weight, u got be to discipline, u cant have full meal, sound easy but try it. Its really worth it. Eat only when u are hungry and stop when u are about to be satified. Dun finish the food, thinking tat u are wasting it. As time pass by, yr stomach will shrink and the next time u want to eat more, u will be too full to stomach it. I can eat all the chocolates n chips I love and still maintain my weight. Believe me, this method is so easy n cost nothing. No hunger, no exercise, just will power. I lost my 22kg pregnancy weight gain in just 3 mths. Good luck.

The Special K Diet is basically a marketing ploy by Kellogg to get you to buy more of their cereal and "nutrition" drinks and bars.

There is nothing particularly magical about Special K cereal when it comes to weight loss. In fact, it's a pretty nutritionally empty food that is far too "processed" to be considered a "health food." You could accomplish the same thing with a bowl of Kellogg Corn flakes, although that wouldn't be a particulary nutritious cereal either.

The Special K Diet works like nearly all diets: it causes you to restrict your calories, which over time will cause you to lose weight. You could do the exact same thing eating a bowl of whole grain oatmeal each morning, provided you watched your protions the rest of the day and made sure that you were eating less calories than your body needs each day to maintain your current weight.

And if you opted for the oatmeal at breakfast and lunch instead of the empty Special K cereal, you'd be getting more fiber, vitamins and nutrients.
