yup.. let us know which song u would like to play. It's quite hard considering you have no background unless you don't mind a simple piece.

Hi Cloudz7/ Kate,

Would like to find out how long will it takes to learn a piece, given no knowledge on the use of piano and violin. By playing it everyday does it help? Cos my wedding is in July 07. From now till tt date is it possible?

I would also like to seek your advice on learning piano/ violin at the age of 25. Will it be too late? Cos I have the intention of picking up the skill, sit for the exams or least next time, I could teach. HOw long does it takes to go to grade 8 or higher?

Hi Choon Kiat,

I'm currently teaching students ranging from kids to the oldest 60 over years old. She had not touched the piano for a very long time even though she said she has passed Grade 7. She's applied for Gr 3 std in my school. Really admire her wanna learn things in life attitude. So i guess, there's no age limit in learning. Only your own will determines your limits. Generally, it's 1 year for 1 grade. Unless you're very good, then u may skip grades.

Dear all, pls email me at [email protected] if you're interested in learning the piano for any reasons, thanks.

Hi Cloudz7,

thanks for the advice... Will keep you inform after I have decided.. only concern is if I were to learn just a song for my AD. Dunno if the hotel would able to loan me their piano to get into the ballroom and to practice also a problem cos I dun have one at home..

Hi,

I'm very keen to learn the piano. But i've totally no background at all. 23 years old already, fingers stiff and hard. And i realised that my fingers looked a little bit too short and tiny against the keys of the piano. Will i have problems playing wider range of octaves?

Any good private piano teachers to recommend? Thanks!!

Hi,

I'm interested to learn both piano and volin.

Is it hard to learn for someone without any background?

Also is it abit too 'late' for someone like me to start learning?

Hi all, I have experience teaching people with zero piano background. One of my students played "canon" in a simple piece for his church wedding, as a special item to surprise his wife. It took him less than a month ( abt twice a week, an hr per session ) to master the whole piece.
The special item went well & his wife was very touched.
Anyone interested to learn to play, please email me at [email protected].
