i'm a Qian Xi lou bride to be. its a restaurant with free flow of liquor beer n everything drinks. n packages start from 500 bucks to 800. food not bad. i like. plus big portions. the only thing is to get ur own wedding favours. my AD will be in dec this yr. well at first i dont really like it in restaurant. but my friend told me that there are ballrooms. so i took it.

Hi I am not exactly young.. But I want to join this thread to feel young bwahahaha!!
I am 26 and HTB is 25 (HTB is considered young for a groom). Getting married this Dec. But we ROM 4 years ago.. Both of us actually need to get parental consent for the ROM hahaha... Ya my parents thought I was pregnant when I told her we were going to register as both of us were under 21 yo when we submitted the application

i guess mine is quite shocking.
i knew my htb for 9mths(seldom talk)@ work place.
met outside work place for like... once a week..
got tgt after 3 months. n planned to settle down
after we're tgt for.. 2-3 months!
told my frens im getting married. nobody believes! omg!
we're having our ROM in Aug and AD in Oct.
relatives were shocked. some say wasted that i get married so young.
im 22 this year. htb 30 this yr loh..

i saw this thread with the thought that i'm a young BTB, 26 this yr, but my hubby is 32 this yr...but i feel OLD reading the posts here! haha..
if my mum sees these posts, she might not nagged as much..haha..i guess whichever age u r getting married, the mums still think we r too young to take care of ourselves...
whatever it is, this shd be a life-long commitment and there shd be no regrets! enjoy the preps and process!

i m working in a female dominated company mostly. Where 80% r females. I've colleagues in their 30s tellin me that at 25 or 26 we r very young to marry. N alwayz suggesting that 28 is the best age to get married. Sumhw they alwayz tell me that if given a choice, they won't wanna marry young. i also know of younger gals who got married like at age 23 where sum r happily married n sum toking abt divorce. Whether young or nt young depends on both u n ur HTB's goals to family planning. If u r planning to hv at least 2 kids n KIV 3 then think 26 should be the best. Bt if u dun intend to hv kids, den i guess even gettin married ast 30yrs old isn't an issue too.

I thought I am a young BTB too but after reading this thread, I realised there are so many younger BTBs ard! hehe.
Similar to hazel, I am 25 this yr while HTB is 32. ROM & AD will be on the same day in 2010. I have always thought that it would be good to settle down early..thats if the couple is ready of coz.
That way, you can enjoy the er ren shi jie before planning for kids. And the thing with family planning is that...sometimes, it just doesnt go according to plan. While you may go all out to avoid having kids at the initial stages, but when you are ready for 1...it might not happen. My mom always advise me not to be too rigid abt family planning..coz its really something beyond our control. Having said that, we can still enjoy our er ren shi jie after getting married but we shld not assume that we will get a child when we are ready for one. Best to set some buffer time..
