Hi...I am new here...is there any1 had their solenmnisation @ Shangri-la Rasa Sentosa?
I am planning for 20092009 (20/09/2009)...pls advise hw's the food, service, decor there? Thanks a zillion!!!

Hi..hi (",) I had my solemnisation cum reception at rasa sentosa in sept 2006. Really wonderful setting by the lawn..its also near to the sea..then high tea in the ballroom. Everyone liked the food & the price was reasonable (approx 60+ per pax), service was pretty good...dunno if it's cos my ROM day is also my Bday but everyone was very attentive & accomodating. Deco was pretty simple, i got my own florist to provide more flower petals & chair/ aisle deco to cut cost. u can view my pics if u like. Just email me @ [email protected] if ur interested to see. Hey all,

My hubby & I just had my Solemnization + buffet reception @ Rasa Sentosa last Sat & it was perfect.. it was good weather too..

We held our solemnization at the white fence area facing the sea.. then move to Pavillion room for the buffet reception.. My guests had good comments on the food, it was over $70 (alchohol included) & a min no. of 80 pax guaranteed.. we were given a night stay at the panaromic room with balcony & good views of the beach.. lovely place to hold.. you can look for Perry Tan..

The photos slideshow shd be out next week, u can view them at www.melvinho.biz under Patrick & Amber - 26 July 2008.. He's a good photographer & rates are reasonable too!

Hey Joanne, congrats to you.. nope, we didn't get any florist to doll up the place, however, we bought a lot of rose petals & place it on the ground with confetti guns after the JP pronounce us as man and wife.. u can buy the rose petals from B1 florist @ Shaw Tower (beach road) at $6 for quite a lot.. and don't get white rose petals, they don't look as nice as red.. Are you holding ROM or dinner?

What time is your soleminisation at Rasa Sentosa?
I saw their package in the website is 2-430pm, that is super warm for that timing...

Hey Elsie,

Yup, my solemnization started at 1pm.. a little warm but just for half hour to say our vows then proceed to pavillion ballroom for food..

There is shade from the big tree at the corner of white fence so the guests know where to find shade...
