ocean, Chelsea needs to deal with all kinds of criticisms cos they r @ the top.....its super tough to be a top team as ppl will start attack u if there's any mistake or weakness etc

my team was famous for craving out 1-nil victories in the early 90s....media etc kept criticising us. then when Wenger took over....each time an Arsenal player got a red card the media n rival fans will keep 'reminding' us of our bad displinary record.

i've learnt to deal with all those suaning liao, so do most Arsenal fans.....

Think Arsenal will probably get a new goalkeeper....on a loan deal. Wenger doesnt seem to have much luck with goalkeepers...haiz

Owen is back to England. Glad to see him again...but Newcastle is paying too much for him imho.

i also think that owen isn't worth that much... Real getting a really nice profit fr it though. can't wait to see how he does for his debut newcastle game.

i dun think nakata has started any match yet. or has he?

not sure abt nakata....havent been following epl tat closely....usually i juz focus on certain teams :p

Real definitely earned a big profit from Owen's sale to Newcastle....abt $9m profit...havent even include the merchanise sale yet...if Owen can sell as many shirts as Beckham in asia, Real wouldnt want to let him go as they control abt 30% of their copyright....

yah...Owen is expensive... no wonder Man Utd refused to match the amount and given up on him..especially after the budget set by the Glazers...

Are hoping any team that can match up Chelsea... they are simply invincible now... Although currently the closing team is ManUtd who has yet concede a goal as well and a match in hand... donno how long MU can last... hope Van can maintain his form

I actually like soccer more than other sports like basketball, baseball, tennis, etc. (but not as crazily as a lot of other soccer fans).

It's a game that requires a lot of practice, skill, and stamina as well (just like many other sports). It's also a good workout for your abs when you kick the ball. That's why the body shape of soccer players are leaner and more fit than the bodies of baseball players because they have to run so much during the game.

I don't have any favorite teams, though. I don't really start to support any team except when they start playing. And I rarely watch soccer aside from the World Cup games. But of course playing soccer is a lot more fun than just sitting and watching it. Btw, I like to call it "soccer" instead of "football" as you've noticed. But either way that's not a big deal.
