Any small sized brides out there?

I posted something just now but I dunno whr my thread went to.. new to SGBrides.

Anyway, would like to ask if anyone's really small sized here? I'm getting married next yr and found out from books that ball gowns are not suitable for brides who are small and/or short.

Any BTB out there tried ball gowns (small on top, puffy below) and look great in them? Got photos to share? I'm quite scared to step into the bridal shop to be disappointed later..

Quite paranoid abt this because some friends have told me that I may have very limited choices to the gowns available for me due to my stature..

dun worry i m only 156 but my BS is able to show me 5 different types of gowns for my petite frame! And they are pretty!

Yup, no worry, I am 158cm also. No issue in selecting gowns. (but must wear very high heel during PS, my hubby is quite high)

i m only 153cm also. i MTM my gown from elas dress. the gown is really pretty and fit me well. keke...

Mine is ball gown. The bs coordinator showed me empire gown and bubble gown also .. both are nice but my hubby prefers the ball gown.. my outdoor is mermaid one though..

rururoo, i'm underweight. i'm 156cm and 41kg. initially i was very worried i wont be able to find gowns too.

on my first trip to the BS, the first gown which the coordinator brought out for me to try, fits me perfectly. i even felt a little breathless (cos a little tight at the ribs).

ball gown looked fine too. mermaid too but my friend mentioned it made me look even tinier.

Haha I m 156cm and 41kg too.. but I m not boney.. in fact I feel tat I m meaty.. think because my bone frame is small..

i used to be 37kg, so now i feel quite fleshy actually. and i have a chubby face. basically i'm a flabby underweight gal.

by the way, what's a bubble gown?

haha tangerinez, i used to be 38kg when i was 18 yrs old lol .. over the years gained some weight .. and wahahah i also have a chubby face!

i will best explain bubble gown as cinderella gown .. hee .. big roundish from waist and below ..

I think I'm also consider petite too, 158cm.
I ended with a ball gown as it looks the best on me. I think the only design not suitable for me is mermaid, makes me look kinda plump and short on waist below
