i m using Avene sunblock for oily skin. so far this is the best! my face stays matt the whole day.
it is currently on 20 percent discount in most pharmacy. after discount, it is $26.

Hi Charlotte,
have you thought of changing your moisturiser? maybe its that that is giving you am oily face. maybe you can try Shiseido Pureness matifying moisturizer. i have combi skin and usually in 2-3 hrs time,my skin will shine fr the moisturiser but since i started using this, it really has a matifying effect.
then i apply the sunblock, SPF 30 fr RMK. it's cucumber water based, no white film, not oily. in fact it's very refreshing to apply on the face and it has no sunblock smell. try it. you can find RMK at Istan Scotts and Wisma only.

Hi Chalotte,
i just recommended another girl to try the RMK sunblock. she went and there is no more samples at the counter. you may want to bring your own little container to see if the counter girl can squeeze a little for you to bring back n try. Cheers!

Hi jacqueline, i think i have tried the shisedo pureness range moisturizer before. but still after that my face is very oily. actually i dont know what to apply coz even after applying the light moisturizer from biotherm, my face has a shiny sheen immediately. Sigh..really exasperated..

Hi Charlotte,
you're most welcome. got good news must share mah. you r the one in the Sisley thread. so coincidental but i hope you try their pdts. it's really good.

looks like you need an oil control pdt. i recommend this pdt to you. you go try n see if it can help. the brand is Dermalogica and the pdt name is call Oil Control Lotion. you can go to any Leonard Drake salon (one at plaza Sing n Wisma Atria) or Beauty Inspiration at Far East Plaza and get a sample. Alternatively, there are many brides discussing this brand at the Derma thread. it has really good pdts too.

Hi Charlotte,
i only tried one pdt from Ipsa, the massage jelly that is supposed to remove dead cells as well but don't think it really worked for me so i've stopped using.
i think they're faved for their some liquid thingy - metabolism thingy but haven't tried that. not very impressed with their pdts.

Hi charlotte,
I'm using a cleansing oil, brand called "U CARE". U can find it in any Sasa shops.
A 200ml bottle at $41, can last me for more than 6 mths (i used it almost everyday).

I cleanse it with tissues to remove makeup then use another cleanser gel to wash up, and it cleanses very thoroughly.

Oh yah, me also got oily skin... so long as the cleansing gel for washing is suitable for oily skin, using cleansing oil to remove makeup will be fine... coz u r not leaving the cleansing oil on ur face for long hrs mah, rite??? :p

Hope it helps!!!

Hi Charlotte, maybe you can also try Fancl's Mild Cleansing Oil. It's gentle, even suitable for sensitive skin yet powerful enough to clean off waterproof mascara. I'm already on my 4th bottle and still love it a lot.
