I highly recommend Mrs Chia Swee Tin
She makes the ambience so relax and yet formal. It makes me and my guests cried even my husband have tears in his eyes. Initially he tot this whole vow thing is cheesy but after the solemnisation he felt so touched. If you need her contact pls email me at [email protected]

My AD is in Oct 06 and now I'm really panicking as there's a huge list of JPs and Grassroots leaders and so on and so forth but we do not know exactly which one is good. (good as in do not read out the vows from the paper, that's the minimum I expect)

I would think Mrs Chia Swee Tin is a good choice, if you need a lady JP.

I had called her to invite her to be our JP, but e timing clash & she told me to rework on e timing & call her again,but as i found another JP who can accomdate to my timing hence I did not chose Mrs Chia,also as we were busy with the preparation we did not call her to inform that i have found another JP, but she still remembered & called me 1mth later to check if i still need her.. I would say she is a responsible JP..

I heard that she's pretty strict. must ask someone to pick her up etc... hmm...

carol, my rom over liaoz. my rom was on jan 09, i called her 6 months in advance. she told me ok, but call her again 2 months before the actual day.

she's strict cos, she solemnize so many couples in a day. one late, the rest all ganna, not fair to the couples behind. so timing must be swee swee macham like national day parade like that.

i got Prof Yu to solemnise for me. i need to fill in the consent form, there is a column stating "correspondence address". whose address do i fill in, mine or my bf?

I think they didn't specify like whose address it must be so i think it's up to individual. I use my bf's address.
