Hi Secret Garden

I designed my own invitation cards and I don't mind helping out with designing more wedding invitation cards as a personal interest. You can drop me an email at [email protected]

hi,

i had FavorAngels design my card & i simply loved it. Very friendly girls, gave me advice on other wedding stuff as well. it helps if you already have an idea in mind. what they did was to come up with a few artwork & then i choose the one i like. my hand-made cards were abt $3 each. contact: Jenny 9747 4507.

Hi Secret Garden,

I design wedding cards, but they are more of the graphic kind rather than those wedding cards in the market.
eg like those direct mailers you get in yr mails. It's something different.

I design my own wedding card. If you are interested, you can drop me an email at [email protected]

hi musicgal, lynn, apple,

i've just emailed you. just to explain a bit, my card is the hand-made type, and not graphic-designed (like fr design houses, pamphlets-type of print).

Hi quirkyms, got your email. Thanks!

I am making the cards for my solemnisation ceremony - abt 40 cards. So I think it is all right. For customary, I am using the ones provided by the restaurant.

HP, you making your cards too? Can you share your design with me if it's ready?

Thanks

anyone has any idea of the rough price of printing about 100 invitation cards (simple printing only)? thanks

Hi E Tan

Simple printing meaning off-set printing? Most shops charge $100 for up to 200 cards. If you want the words to be raised, you top up $60.

I'd recommend Lilian Goh of Lil-Art, she did such a great job for me!

Hi bindi,

The charges will depend on the design and other factors. I have passed your email to her and she will contact you soon.

hi all,

Actually, it can be quite nice to design your own invitation card. All it takes is a little creativity, time and effort to source around. U can look for books on invitation card designs in the library which are plenty...thats wat my hubby & i did. In the end, we still came up with our own card design. We drafted our own words & played arnd with our pics & voila.. a card was born. haha yea rite.

Anyway, as for printing of the invites, I strongly recommend Kentrich Trade Press. They're good and professional. I had a deadline to meet, & i gave them less than a week to print the cards out, & they still managed to get it out, without ANY mistake & on gloss finish somemore. My card was in black and white & only costed me $0.70 each. I printed 300 copies, which only came up to $210. In addition, the guy even gave me many extra samples as mementos. Everyone said our card was simple & sleek. Basically, we din go into a lot of fuss & frills of the design. We saved a lot of money by not going to a special card designer & it was really rewarding seeing our card take shape.

Thumbs Up for Kentrich for doing a great job !

Hi Emmeline,

Can you share with me your card too? I'm thinking of designing if possible, but not sure if I have enough time.

Thanks

hi all, my wedding card designers are really good. they do all the design and text writing for me and even handle intricate work like tying of ribbons etc. Of course it's not so cheap to have cards with ribbons and translucent paper etc...but i decided against a simple very normal plain (but boring) white card with just some words and pictures...will post up my card when it's ready.
