Maybe I don't look like the cooking type and no one wanted to waste time on telling me that? Haha. In truth, I can cook quite good meals as I had spent some time studying overseas. But I don't offer this info because like Powder has said, it's first physical attraction and then personality that attract men to women, and vice versa, not the ability to do housework.

I agree!!.. Moreover, we dun marry coz we expect our partners to be able to do the things we want, we marry coz we love the person for who he/she is.

We can love whipping up a good meal, keeping the house clean and taking care of children. Nothing wrong with that. But it's another story if we wishfully think that doing so we can attract or even keep men interested in us.

I think it boils down to expectation. Some people, especially women, cook dinner, buy breakfast, do laundry, etc for their bf/husband expecting to be appreciated for being a good wife. To be honest, these chores can be easily outsourced to a maid. Men don't really care who get all these done as long as they get done. Think we need to put more focus in being a great companion to our bf/husband, for example, being understanding, fun, spontaneous, communicative, and supportive, etc. That's how I see it.

Well, being in love doesn't mean can connect as well isn't it? Else, why would there be threads that questions it?
