Hi Gelaine OM have now told me that they have discontinued this unit so I am looking at making it myself.

Is there any chance you could take a few photos of your unit for me?

Mine is different from the one you saw... the one u like is probably the black 2.2m one. Mine is the 1.8m and is in white.

But my delivery will be next Friday though we made our orders about 2 months ago.

If you still want to see mine, i can take pics and email to you when my console arrive.

yeah if you can do that it would be great. I might be able to take some measurements off it.

The OM guy I have been dealing with was strange, he knew I was from Australia and wanted to import one, I got all the shipping arranged and everything then I go to make the payment and then he tells me he cant sell to me because he needs me to have someone visit his store to fill out the paper work etc.

Thats the only things that preventing me from getting one, having someone go to his store on my behalf/representitive. I guess he does not trust people buying from outside of singapore.

There is one OM at Liang Court and another at Joo Seng Road. They sell fashionable furniture and will give discounts to customers. I bought a bed and a dining table from OM last week =D

I find OM furniture nice & stylish. We bought sofa & coffee table from them, though not delivered yet.

I have also bought a TV sideboard, which unfortunately I have to let go bacause my in-laws have bought me one from Mondi as a house warming gift without informing me. & I didn't want to offend them by not accepting it.

This TV sideboard is Futura, retailing at OM for $999 + $50 for delivery. I am willing to let go for $649 with delivery. You can view it at IMM OM. Anyone interested, please PM me.

OM furniture is definitely the choice to go for! After going to so many furniture shops, OM is the only one which satisfies my expectations of sofa & dining set though expensive. I just ordered a black leather l-shaped sofa + an extendable black tempered glass dining table & 6 chairs

Glad to know there's another OM fan here. Yes, after visiting so many furniture stores like IFC, XZQT, BoConcept, OM is still the best! Their design are simply contemporary and minimalist! Which sofa did you buy? I bought the Bengal L-shaped in black leather. I also bought the extendable black glass dining table that can seat 12 pax. Can't wait for them to deliver my furnitures on 3 Apr!

beware of their sofa, i'm going case soon.

sofa torn within 1 yr and told me to pay $800 to upgrade, waited half a year sitting on torn sofa and finally got it. in less than 3yrs, the upgraded leather torn again.

and they also sold a defect sofa to my mum, a sofa that can play slide... the seat is defect, made up of 2 pieces of foam.

they refused to take responsibility even i asked for repair.

do not buy their sofa. see the pixs...

anyway, PU sofa torn within 1 yr, OM refused to replace and same problem gonna come back, told me to pay $800 to upgrade to italian leather, estimated 16weeks wait for sofa to be ready, and i waited half a year sitting on torn sofa. in less than 3yrs, the upgraded italian leather torn again.

i rented the house out for 1 yr, they claimed tenant torn it. however, lease said, tenant will take responsibility if things in the house are torn. my tenants took well care of my house, my glossy table has no scratch mark at all! and i've highlighted to them to clean the sofa as it gets moldy every 2 months, i even bought sofa wipe for them. the house was returned with sofa no mould.

after 1st canadian couple moved out (6mths lease), i saw bubbles on the seat, few mths later, another australian couple moved in and pointed to me about the crack on the sofa, i only rectify the problem after they moved out 6 months later, by then some of the cracks have became holes.
