Hey, just saw from the newspaper that OM is having a 25% sale off their package, but only for this weekend.

Bought a rug & 2 ottoman from them lately. Personally, I think the quality is pretty good and the price is quite reasonable if you compare with places live Evov Living, Luxur ( All made locally ). Of cos cannot compare the quality with those of European country lah.
I'm intending to go back to get a sidetable and maybe my dining chairs....still looking and hoping they will have more sale! haha!

Before i purchase my table from OM, i have already informed the sales gal working there that i do not want to receive the new set with scratches ( similar to their display set )
When the set was delivered to me, there were scratches ( not as much as the display set though) and the workmanship is not really good.
But with the price you pay, what can you ask for?

Yeah, you are right! Simplicity yet classic.
I just love their design.
Usually places like AIR, X.tra, OM , XZQT etc etc, you can bargain off 10-20% off the displayed price as they may have allocated a certain commission for "some people" if required.. ( heehee..not very nice to say it here )

Just to add that for OM, I managed to get 15% discout and for XZQT, 20% discount.
Must also add that both OM & XZQT's service is pretty good. Received my goods from them with no problem. Also, OM even allowed me to exchange my stuffs after I realised that the rug didn't fit my living room's decor.

I just ordered my furniture from OM and am very pleased with their service. Me and hubby have been to countless furniture shops around Spore and still find that their designs are more contemporary and designer looking yet without having to burn a big hole in your pocket.
Furniture will only arrive in April, so hope that their delivery and after sales service still remains good.

yaa..i heard that their policy is like that. Perhaps, u can ask for lesser discount...say 10% if u buy the dining table alone. tis is just my idea..actually i dun know whether they'll allow since i never buy any item from them...

i'm a very satisfied customer of OM. delivery time is quite prompt but im most happy with their after sales.
i got my bed delivered in aug but they had to come again to install it in sep because of the reno. service was good. then i had some problems with the bed last mth and they came down to fix it. no qns asked.

Hiya I'm also a satisfied customer of OM. Bought my sofa, 2 TV console (LR and MBR) from them. After they deliverd the TV console, found that one of the drawers seems to be lose and the rubber beneath came out. OM guy came to fix it promptly without questions asked.
Basically their furniture designs are modern contemporary. Some of the furnitures look like XZQT but of course the prices are much much cheaper

i bought a coffee table (displayset) last month at a 30% discount cos the salesgirl told me is LAST piece but when i visited their store again at LC last week i saw the same set and it's going at a much cheaper price! I really daren't commit myself to buy their items for fear they will have further reduction. Heard their items like U.P 688 can go as low as $288. Any such encounters out there? thanks!

At this stage they have said they dont ship internationally, but I have sent an email back saying id pay extra if they could. Im sure if they packaged it well enough and labelled it as fragile it would be okay.
They tell me its 2.2m long, what is the height, how many peices does it dissasemble to and how big are they? It might help me in finding out how much it will cost to ship.

Probably can't help u on dimensions as mine is the 1.8m one.
If it is the same, think the total height is about 31cm.
U may want to check out OM website to take a look at how the actual thing looks like. It's the Zeus model but due to colour lighting it may look slightly different. What u are looking at is the one at the bottom left of "sideboards" -- model Zeus . That's 2.2m, i got the white one on the right also "Zeus" but 1.8m.
As it's spray paint, thus there might be scratches which would be obvious especially on black. So you may want to consider before purchasing. The legs are of aluminium metal. and for 2.2m one, there is additional centre leg in the middle. And there are two side compartments using tempered glass with a drawer in between. Not sure if all these can be disassembled.

If it came down to it would there be any chance that you could accept delivery, package it up and forward it on to me. You live in Singapore correct? Id pay $100+ for your time and to cover packaging needs/postage etc.
I thought I might have had a contact over there but it turns out it was in Hong Kong.
Or else I might end up renting a mail box over there and have it automatically forwarded to my address.
Still doing some research on how I can best get it here, let us know what you think.

Seemed that they do not have this service at Singpost. Anyway... about delivery via container, i heard sometimes the extreme heat and pressure will actually melt the items though i can't really imagine how. But apparent it does happen.
