Hi every1,
Anyone heard of "I Will Be There" by Steven Curtis Chapman ? My hubby sang it as a surprise for me at our church wedding. It was really touching, I cried. It is a very beautiful & romantic song, excellent for those romantics & sentimentals at heart. Can get the CD frm any Christian bookshop.
As for worship songs, I tend to prefer more contemporary songs. Our celebrative opening song was "Hear Our Praises" by Darlene Szech (or Scheck, can't pronounce !)
The other songs were :
Jesus, Lover of My Soul
Oh, Love of God
I dun regret choosing these songs as they were close to our hearts.
U can also try some classic but modern instrumentals frm Jim Brickman. He's an excellent pianist & his songs really put u in the mood of the song.
For our wedding march-in, we chose "Little Star" frm Jim Brickman. It was a very quiet but emotive song, i almost teared walking arm in arm with my dad all the way to the altar.
Then again, for some of u, u may prefer more classical renditions for a more grand entry.
Hope you like the suggestions ! Cheers.
