Hi all, Can anyone advice me on what to look out for in the wedding package. I am getting married Oct 2010.

Any recommendation of JB Bridal house, Venus, Fables, Milan n Dawn?

In mind my choose with be venus and fables, but would like to hear more before deciding.

How does Venus compare to Fables any comment?

Is anyone had took package from the above mention?

Hi Teng,

No matter what JB bridal shop you choose just make sure you have a black n white on every single item. And make sure you follow up. dun wait till them to call you... else you will have bad experience with them

Yes, black & white easier la...
Fables, Printemps, SG bridal, etc all are quite nice. I am with Printemps, one of the main reasons is bcos of the location of the BS (of course, price & skill count, ha^^). My friend went Fables, the gowns and PG skill are great as well!

I have very bad experience.... make sure u need to take photos on everything.

Gown, photos chosen, the index and AD gown

Went to choose my AD gown recently. And the gal down down the wrote gown number. I asked her to check again but she simply ignore me. In the end, I checked again myself and pointed out to them is wrong.

This is only one of the case. There is much more

nope ... is the one at city sq level 4.

I just wan to share my experience so tat other BTB need to take note.

Of course i admit that the photos are good there, but there services are very bad.

The package should include AD gowns. How many will depend on your package / negotiation . 1 white gown, 1 tea dress and 1 evening dress should be the norm bah... bridal car decor & AD bouquet should be in too... dun tink it includes AD MUA and photography...

babybreath002> Normally only include AD gowns on rental, bridal car deco & AD bouquet. AD MUA and PG can be arranged at higher price. e.g. my MUA quoted me S$750 for AD if want her to go sg with me. I didnt ask price for AD PG from the BS.

I sign up a package from La Veil as well. Can you advice whether is norm that they ask for full balance payment on the day of the studio photo shooting? And their finish CD and Album is good? Hope can share your package!!.

yes..make full payment during photoshoot..as stated in the receipt when u sign the package.
The album quite nice..but the CD just normal lo..
Do look out Fendy/Elefe, she is the one who serve me well.

My advise to all here, don't spend so much on pre-wedding package..
I get married in July 2010, now my album "lying" in my cabinet, lol...
Better spend much in AD, i like my AD photos than the pre-wedding album..more natural and meaningful

Hi all!

prolly you guys can try Venus Bridal / Fables. its near the m'sia custom thou. =)
i had mine @ De Joyce Bridal. used to be @ Taman Sentosa area. but had moved to Skudai. some 20-30 mins drive from custom. they always have wedding shows @ city square. do keep a lookout yea! =)

I had made a deposit of RM2688(selling it at SG1.1k).

Package details:
outdoor photoshoot @ si wan dao
-transport provided
-x3 grown with makeup & hairdo(MUA tag along)
-able to bring 4 frenxs along

bring home
-25 poses 3D in crystal photo album
-25 poses in soft copy(e 25 selected poses)
-1 large frame(20x40)
-photo montage(able to bring own photos and they will include some photo taken in si wan dao in).time limit-2 full songs

Actual Day
-x1 Designer's wedding grown(according to bernice there is a diff between designer and normal wedding gown,so called for "VIP gown")

Have anyone use the shop that is next to inspiration? Something like "perfect wedding" or "France wedding" how is their services overall and and hard sell? Care to share anyone

Heard that SG Bridal is coming to Singapore to participate in a bridal fair on 11 April till 17 April at Orchard Central.

Those who interested can drop by to see what they are offering. Bridal photos are usually taken once in a lifetime hence has to take your time to choose your service provider carefully. Quality should be your main concern. Prices are all almost the same ones. Do be wary if you are being offered very low price. As the saying goes 'yi fen qian, yi fen huo'.

I am clueless abt the price. Anyone noe roughly wad is the price range? Includes 2 gowns and 2 men suite, makeup artiste. Anything else i can ask for?

Actually other than these few there are quite alot.
Sometimes they will have weddin show at holiday plaza too.
Eh the other time I saw a Milan . Not too bad leh. Think
one of these few sat I'll go in check it out and update u all

Personally, I have friend who went to SG bridal before, the works are just so-so. And they charge quite high..I scouted around for bridal shops at JB for my recent wedding in Oct. Had a very bad experience at My White Wedding at JB. The sales person were very aggressive and persuasive, we felt obligated by their initial friendliness. After signing on the dotted line and paying the deposit, their attitude changed; we were given very limited choices of gowns to choose, and the 'new' shirt and white pants that they wanted my HTB to buy was in fact used and we even found curry stains on the sleeves! We were so angry that we donate it to the Salvation army, and never went back since, losing the deposit that we put in..so never go to "My White Wedding' in JB..service was terrible..

i took my BS with SHE wedding along bridal street. sentosa there. very good service and patience coordinator alice. i took all the 200+ pictures soft copy, added to 70over pose from original 30poses in e package, upgrade to a very big frame photo (supposedly to hang behind e bed) and added crystal to it. total cost only RM7000 which i think its a very fair price, considering i added so many things.

makeup, wedding gown, bridal shoot, photo design and after service is very good!

I signed up with Spozami in JB.. 5 mins drive from Custom.. They are high end bridal in JB and the service they provided are really good. They will not change attitude even after you make all the payment..

I ended up paying SG8000 for everything but I know it is worth it as I would not get all the things they give me for SG8000 in a SG bridal.

You can go FB and search for Spozami and look at their work..

Hi, care to share which BS? Seem pretty worthwhile.

Went to the BS fair at danga city mall ytd, price mostly start from RM 5k above.
