Hi, anybody has any recommendation of any bridal shop in JB? I went to Milan, and I find the gown so so but the photographer's skill is not bad.

I am looking for the gown similar to those divine couture has, those that looks elegant.

Saw good comments about Dawn Bridal & SG Bridal? Where is it located at in JB? Maybe going to take a look after CNY.

Hi try going tun aminah? tis lik 15 minutes straight road drive from woodlands custom. Very easy coz there r signs all over to lead u there. Supposedly, tun aminah shops are cheaper, din have chance to explore city sq and tama sentosa but dunno. I booked a packaje at Santiago at tun aminah. Lik the magazine style, photography (lik model shoot) and finishing. price is 3699RM for 18R 35 poses and the usual table top, portriat and stuff. OH and 8 changes of outfit....gush...i mean...my goodnessssss....8!!! *laugh* i paid 500RM more for outdoor shoot to be done in spore, eh boy boy in air force, cant wear his uniform in msian land *laugh*.

I am considering JB BS. But have not went over JB to look around. Appreciate if you can recommend some shops that I should visit, preferably around City Sqaure or Pelangi area as me and HTB don't really noe our ways there.

Hi, let me share my package with everyone. I signed up with Santiago recently. This is the standard offered: 12x30 digital 35 poses, 8 x 10 full pages 23 poses, 4R 150 pcs, 1 10 x 16, 1 11 x 14, 1 15 x 7, 1 24 x 32, DVD, music box, guest book, soft copy of chosen photos, can choose up to 8 dresses for indoor and outdoor - 3699 RM. My coordinator Ru Yi was really nice, so we got some more perks (shall not share here since it may be on individual basis). Had indoor shootlast tues. IT WAS SO FUN. jus indoor ONLY took 8 hours, had 5 changes of gowns AND 5 hairdos. Xiaoyan is my make-up artist, she is so jovial and skilful! My skin looked flawless, even my hubby's pokey face looked not too bad. Jacky, my photographer, was so humourous. Very tiring, but super fun. Gonna take outdoor shoot on 13th april. Going sentosa and Hwa Chong JC (our alma mater, got together since JC, now 8 yrs lor, laugh). We paid 500RM for Jacky to come Singapore, another 200 RM for xiaoyan to follow me the whole day. Would have another 2 gowns, can bring my own cheongsam and casual wear, so would potentially have 4 other styles again! I think tis really value for money! (i mean, no spore salons let the MUA follow the bride whole day lei, if want, it would be a reali exorbitant cost!)I think the experience is really good, JB ppl are very accomodating and friendly. They do not put on airs, like some of the service staff in BS here. But it is really more troublesome travelling there. Having a car is really important and we had his dad go in with us each time, coz his dad knows the roads well. It makes us closer with his dad and it is an adventure going in each time coz we would go for for sumptious seafood dinners! I heard tis easy to travel by cab to Tun aminah too, it is lik 15 min away from Woodlands checkpoint,just lik travelling from Orchard to Tanjong Pagar. We thought for adventure we have got, it is in itself a memorable experience, not to mention the $ saved!

For all those looking for JB bridal shop, I strongly recommend Dawn's Bridal. I sign up with them and have already completed all my shoot with my wife, selected the pics and now awaiting the album and AD. I must say, me and my wife had a really great time with them. Never thought that wedding can be so fun. The staff are indeed good and price is very affordable indeed. I have made my homework in at least 20 bridal studio there and none can even compare to Dawn. Refer to topic on Dawn's Bridal in JB. I will be discussing more and posting my album once I get it.

Hi, jus finish my outdoor shoot with Santiago. Very fun, from 1030 all the way to 7 without time to break for lunch! Xiaoyan was really good, paid for her to come to Spore so she was with me the whole day, had 4 changes of clothes and 4 hairdos. Jacky took such beautiful photos. My fren used her own camera to tk and the results are good, I could imagine Jacky's ones would be realli great since he noes how to catch the angle and stuff. I saw one photo on his camera, so in love with it. Was at a lake, and he made me luk up to the sky, got balmy grass, coconut trees and blue blue sky as bkground and my reflection in the lake. cooool. Do go to santiago at tun aminah if you are exploring to have a JB BS. reali value for money and the service is first class. ('u')

Hi whoofy, its not really ethical to post the package and the price here. All I can say is that, you must go to JB, visit the shops and really experience the service and their sample photos and all that. Then you make the decision. Dawn is one of the most expensive in JB but comparing the price to Sg, I would say its just a bit more than half price. Go to Dawn, check out with them, tell them what you want and ask them to qoute a price and decide from there. Once you are firm on engaging them, talk to them further and haggle for a better price from there. Thats exactly what I did. Tell you the truth, I was laughing inside my heart when they quote me the price as its really cheap. I had to look cool and act as if its still very expensive and ask for further discount. Hee hee. Remember, they are professional and have tricks but so do we.

I have seen the coffeetable book ablums on display by the two bridal shops in JB City Square. Didn't really like them cos they were full of typo and grammatical errors and the template designs look old-fashioned. BTBs, please make sure you like the design before you engage them.

Tris, the 2 coffee table book at Dawn have been there since the first day they open. The pics are of Models if you notice. The spelling are bad indeed, which is why for my album, I requested no words. The joke is, during my outdoor shoot, the assistant draw a heart shape on the beach and inside, he wrote 'Just marriged'. I did not choose that photo of coz. Everything else is fine. I would recommend you to see pics taken by Dawn that are posted here. Only then can you appreciate. Or maybe ask them for some photos taken of real brides and not models. They do have album of normal bride and groom.

whoofy, there are indeed many more at Taman Sentosa, guess there are about 10 or more. Prices there are definitely competitive for sure. Go take a look and spend some time talking to each and everyone of them and you will understand why I come back to Dawn despite the higher prices.

I am considering whether to source for my bridal package in JB..but thinking of the hassle of travelling in and out..and the possible probs that we might encounteered such as the photo shoot etc..

Is it worth it? Any advice? I heard tht the package is indeed comprehensive and cheap, but how abt the quality?

Hi all,
I'm interested in taking up a package in JB too since its relatively cheaper there. However, there's a few queries on my mind and i wonder if anyone could help me ans them.

1) Will they prov any bridal car?

2) i know the gowns are not MTM, on the avg, how many gowns do u normally have for the photo shoot.

3) for outdoor shoots, where do they normally bring you to in M'sia? do u pay them to come here if u wanna do a photo shoot here?

4) If my AD and dinner is held on different days, do i pay xtra to the MUA for 2 days.

anyone can share your package and pics?
