hi all,

i will b having my solemisation in Gazebo Lawn in Raffles hotel. It's a garden theme of solemisation. Do hop down there to check it out esp during the wkend if they are holding a solemisation. both me n my FH loves it when we first see it. We are planning to have a cocktail dinner reception at the lawn itself, n i had arrange for chief to b at the lawn to serve my guests for the food.. there is a shelter which usually the table is being setup for the JP. I am also planning to hire a band there to entertain my guest too...
do check it out.. very nice n romantic

Hi Moo,

I just went to Bottletree last wk for dinner. Attached are 2 photos. The 1st is the entrance while the 2nd photo shows the 'night view'. Hope that gives you (& interested brides) some idea how BottleTree looks like.

I thought it is a nice place by the sea, but the only flaw is that it is super ulu, only accessible by car or cab. If you think your guests are fine, then you can consider.

girl, raffle hotel do have sit down chinese dinner in their ball room.. as for the lawn, i do not think so.. mine will be a standing cocktail, of cos we do have chairs for guests to sit, but no big tables.. our main aim is to let our guests to mingle around..

the food at SAF yacht club was great. didn't get too each much at my wedding dinner (last sat) but my guests said good, and i also throught good during food tasting

the jetty (where we had our solemnisation)

the dinner venue (to show you the size of the room. we had 22+1 tables. and yes that is us standing on the tables)

Hi I just had a beach wedding in Tanjong Beach @ sentosa last saturday. It was a beautiful wedding though. All my guest enjoyed the party very much. I rented the beach from Sentosa and the logistic for 100 ppls with beautiful tentage with underliner is around $5000 plus. The food is from Lavish Dine $40 per head. Excellent food and wines from winesbos and champagne from a gf of mine. If you need contact for champagne you can send me email [email protected] Service staff from Lavish is $60 per staff and we have them to decorate the center piece 10 long tables with 10 ppls on each tables around $400 plus. They make it so beautiful and I did not even go for food tasting and yet all the guests commented the food was SUPER. The whole ambience was so relax and beautiful. A gf of mine gave me the sound system as a wedding present. wE started the wedding solemnisation at 615pm and dinner start at 7pm. At around 10pm we all proceed to KM8 for second round of drinks till 3am. Anyway if you need more infor pls feel free to email me ok... Good luck girls for all planning. Oops I forgot I also got a co-ordinator to help me throughout the evening of course she was such an angel. I handed her all my details and she make sure everything turns out well.. even call cab for my guests. I also provides transport from Tanjong beach carpark to harbour front from 930pm till 3am at $160. 18 seater bus. My co-ordinator even make sure all my barangs goes back into my hotel room while we were still partying at KM8.

For those of you who also intending to do outdoor weddings, I suggest that you get a planner to help you with the logistics. Can you recommend some cool places like the Loof at Odeon Tower, the rooftop bar at Scarlet Hotel, etc? Have already checked out major hotels' function rooms and poolside dining, etc.

LC, I highly recommend Bora Bora Beach bar at Sentosa.. the number of pax & price is within your budget. I have just held my ROM beach party there last week & it was fantastic.
