Advise needed on where to hold weddin banquet

Hi all,

I am thinking of holding my wedding in 2009 but I have no clues on which wedding venues to shortlist. Pretty choosy ya but I hope AD will be a pleasant moment for me and all my guests. Recently I had attended a few weddin banquets and heard of complaints on some 4/5stars rated hotels that the food and service are bad. Pondering pondering to select hotel or restaurant????Please help....


Please reco some good hotel/restaurant based on the following criterias?

1) good, tasty food with resonable package price say SGD800-1000 per table

2) nice and cosy ambience

3) accomodate 30-40 tables

4) good and acceptable background sound system

5) excellent service

6) easily accessible

7) heard of M hotel, Holiday Inn Park View, carlton, 4 Seasons, Traders. Any comments/feedbacks? Very welcome other suggested locations.

u can try out Pin Si Yishun located at blk 925 beside yishun bus interchange.

the food is nice n prices start from 500+ i tink. it's those chin type rest but the last time i went for my relatives wedding, the place was veri nicely n elegantly done up. was rather impressed.

i personally prefer rest to hotel. past experience kinda proves tat rest serve better food =P

We have nego alot of perks previously. The ballroom is nice and romantic. cocktail extend to the poolside. due to we have a better dates, if not i really cannot bear to let go. interested party please call me at 93696204.


I spoke to furama and they said dates can be change but must be within this year. Im willing to let go my package at 2k. Please let me know asap if you are interested. Another thing is i have checked with furama prices have shot up. you wont this price too. ballroom is really beautiful. call me and i will tell you more details
