Hi guys, I am new to this forum and in the midst of renovating my new house now (really looking forward to completion!). I am not one of those people who likes to visit forums but I must say I have benefited alot from the singapore brides forum ever since i started to prepare for my wedding and renovation in Oct. Kudos to Singapore Brides.

Hence, I wanted to share with you guys my ID/contractor whom I am very impressed with. In actual fact, I am a rather "lazy" person and likes the idea of "hassle-free"! What's more, i have heard enough "scary" stories about how "ugly" can some contractors be... Hence, I feel comfortable only with those that are referred by my close friends - "Tried & Tested". :p

My ID, Tom is really a very responsible person with a great sense of ownership. My house should be completed by end of the month and so far my experience with him has been wonderful.

Strangely, he is the one to keep "pushing" me to get more quotations from competitors so that I have a better idea of the market rate and practices out there. You know, I am the "lazy" type but he "made me work hard" man! Haaa... :p I had to do the same for the aircon. There was once he sms me at 11pm and asked me whether I am free so that he can explain to me the reasons for the recommendations he made for the aircon layout plan that he has just emailed me. He walked with me along Balestier road for a few hours just to help me find the matching lights that I wanted for my resort-style look and feel. And just now when I met up with him to confirm something, reminded me that I must go and see the house often so that I have an idea of what's going on...

I am not going to go on and on singing his praises. But I am one who value people who provide great services and take a lot of pride and sense of ownership in his work.

Hi pinkberrycake,
You can try my ID from LEGO HOUSE at city plaza. i am currently doing reno on a 4A re-sale like you, total cost is about 25.5k which is changing everything in the house, including windows and grills, also with access area, total is 115 sq meter. reno started last week and i am very happy with the job done so far. the whole reno will be finished by 9/12 and if anybody wants to see the workmanship contact me for that by pm. what you want is no problem, mine include 32 ft kit cabinet and all toilet change. you can contact ZANE at 94877606 and ask for a quote. he just finished a house at pasir ris and will be able to show you the place if you contact him, go and look at his workmanship and see if you can get any ideas from it. Tell him that thomas from tampines gave you his contact.
