hi all - thanks for the nice comments ;)

Windy: i had 3 outdoor locations
- green field
- sakura
- beach

there was supposed to be one more location (calla lily) but there was terrible fog there so had to cancel that.

for the sakura i did not choose much pictures as they did not turn out well (due to the angles and way you had to pose to catch the sakura flowers which are so high up in the trees and we had to balance precaiously on tiny rocks to get them in the pic, so you can imagine our expressions were quite strained and did not look so happy..

Grace: do you mind sharing your pics with me?

HiWindy, RL...

BTW, how long do they take to do clothes alterations? For eg, you choose clothes today, next day photoshoot, do they have time to alter?

hi windy
the jacket was my own, it's quite cold at the beach..

Wujie has no direct email, just resend your email & direct to Josh.. I had the same problem with Samantha.. she didn't respond to many emails even after waiting for months.. i had to call her a few times to get a response.

dora
alterations are done within 30mins for each dress

For those who likes princessy n detailed gowns as well as considering overseas PS, you can consider Julia Wedding News as they are a local BS with head office based in Taiwan. This saves ppl like me the trouble of having to search for my AD stuff. I'm willing to share my package details with those interested .. [email protected]

anyone has any idea how long the album will take to reach Singapore?

my wedding is on 14 jun. now rl is telling me they expect to complete the printing only on 9 jun and thereafter mail out.

really very disappointed with them on this part. supposed to send me the first draft on 10 apr. waited for a week but still didn't hear from them so i emailed them. finally found out that they typed my email address wrongly. then was their ftp server not working. wasted a few days for them to finally email me the photos.

subsequently every response from them took a few days and then 1-2 wks to get back with corrections. despite telling them how tight my dates are, they still take their own sweet time. was not apologetic at all for getting my email address wrongly in the first time. :|

Hi all BTBs!

I just came back from my Taipei photoshoot with Romantic Life and i'm so so happy with it! Initially we got kinda worried after reading some bad experience with them on the other RL thread. But we were proven otherwise.

My fiance and I had a wonderful once in a lifetime experience with them. I can't stop raving how wonderful they were to all my friends. Although we both spent about 10+k on the whole trip (PS + Airtickets + Hotel + Spending). We think it's all worthwhile. The photos were so nice, we couldn't resist. Before we saw the photos, i told HTB, let's just get additional 10 max. Ended up, we got 60more. OMG!!! Very crazy i know and very very heartpain. But we love each and every single pics we bought. And i can't looking at them everyday. Hahaha!

The make-up & hairdos were amamzing nice, and exactly the way we wanted it.

The service provided by Romantic Life were excellent too! They were very very patient. Other than that, they all gave us reccomendations on the places to shop & eat in Taipei.

We were served by Joy on the photoshoot locations and photoshoot styles we wanted. XinLing helped me with the gowns selections. My MUA is Peiwen. I love the simple yet elegant hair & make-up she have done for me. And my HTB loved his hairstyle. Maybe cos he always like taiwanese hairdo. Hahaha...

Most importantly, our photography Kiwi did an excellent job. He really put in a lot of effort doing our photoshoot. There are even a few shots which is kinda life-risking. Haha! I'm so glad i have him as our photographer. He's amazing! He made us so comfortable. He knew it whenever and wherever we are uncomfortable and kept telling us to relax. Otherwise the photos wouldn't look natural. Not forgetting his assisant Ah Xue. And our driver Ah Long even drove us to a few places for popular beef noodle and etc. after the shoot. We got along with them so so well, we felt kinda sad the photoshoot is over. Some how, we have became friends over the short period of time.

Last but not least, i HIGHLY RECOMMEND Romantic Life to all BTBs. U get what you paid for. It's worth it IMHO. You can never get such excellent quality photos in Singapore.

But 1 thing I regret is not bringing my MUA out for photoshoot with me. Cos when we were out, all the others had a MUA with them. And they get to change hairdos & make-up at every locations, except me. So i felt kinda sad bout it.

Sorry for the long post, but i just have to justify their excellent service.

Hi,

i have a very comprehensive package from Yvonne Creative to let go at $800. The original price is $3388 and i managed to bargain to $3088. I have paid a deposit of
$1088 but due to some personal reasons i have to let it go. It includes almost everything you need for indoor & outdoor photoshoot, ROM, tea ceremony, church wedding (if you have) and Actual day dinner. The gowns are made to measure (MTM). No expiry date too. I signed up this package at a bridal fair.and it took us a long time to bargain with them and get all the additional goodies we need. All hidden charges are also listed in the package so they can't anyhow charge you. They are also very flexible in exchanging things in the package to things that you need. Like more pictures/poses, more men's jackets. My consultant is Jean. A very friendly and patient lady. Despite all our bargain and keep asking for more things, she can still smile at us and offer us appropriate advices. You can visit their website at http://www.yvonnecreative.com.sg/. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested in the package.

Thank you.

I met Kiwi in person during the HKG Wedding fair(17-19 Jul), he is a very nice and friendly guy. Look very young too. I then talked to Apple, under his training are:kiwi, mango, celine, ah hong, ah kuan..there's another one, I forgot who..all of them are talented. Kiwi was in HKG while the rest were out for photoshoot.
These photographers are trained and they take picture not only in taiwan, but in Hongkong, France, Greece, and Japan. There's no doubt about their qualification. I think it's the communication btw u, ur spouse and also with the photographer that counts. What kind of photo do u want, what kind of atmosphere you want people to see in your photo..etc..have to communicate with the photograhper.

Just share...I took at a China studio, my hubby and me bought our own ticket to Cheng Du (China), tickets are about $1200, the package costs $1200. We took at Li Jiang. They have so many nice places to choose from and their photos are really fantastic.
Can check out their website, btw, in chinese:
http://www.mdphoto.cn/
here is their forum http://www.mdphoto.cn/bbs/index.asp
They posted a lot of customers'photo there~
Very troublesome for all the process...but once in life....really worth....

Hi greentwinkle

Did you negotiate the photographer when you sign up for the package? or they will only inform you the details (the photographer) after you have signed up? Studying on how to negotiate for the package

Hi all BTB

I am a happy bride of www.truelove.com.tw they have package offered for Oversea couples, take a look at the package and compare. http://www.truelove.com.tw/smh/index.php

What's attract me is that we don't have to pay for MUA to follow and also no need rent transport for shooting for whole day which could costs us more than $150 from what I enquire from a few BS. Truelove provide free 5hrs transport in which any etc hrs will be at NT300/hr only.

Though they didn't come for any bridal fair, and can only enquire through their online msn at their website and have to pay 1/4 deposit online, frankly, these really takes me long time to decide as I'm scared of their reliability.

But now everything completed and I had a very memorable PS as they are really gd in customer srevice and quality is also on par with the rest.

All btb who are still searching for BS PS, I really hope you all won't be pull back by these doubts and misses a gd BS that can let you complete your PS a memorable one.

No harm trying to have a first contact with them via msn. Below are the website of their oversea package and also a taiwan brides forum to let you all see reviews of BS to help you all have better comparison.

Feel free to PM me if you would like to know more about truelove.

Anyone has recently went for Taiwan photoshoot with JingHua Taipei?
I dropped them an email recently to ask about my package and to try and fix a date to go for my photoshoot but got no replies.
Am kinda worried about it now.
