I am letting go my bridal package from Bliss Bridal Creations (Marina Square).

We manage to get a bargain. My package is $2988. Paid 1500 already.. now letting go at $1300 only.

It's open date for 10 years.

I have bad experience to share. Hope you won't end up like us paying additional cost. And remember to ask them write clearly on the contract with description listed. Hope your wedding preparation goes smoothly.

I would like to know is it true that there is a policy on during the fitting day of the gowns, clients are not allow to use their camera to take a shoot for their own keeping?

On the day of my fitting we asked the wedding consultant permission before taking out our camera to snap. And the reply was 'NO, base on their policy' but to our surprise last Sunday afternoon when we went down to view on our photo album layout design, we were shock to see the same wedding consultant who services us during the fitting last month (Apr'10) actually allow her client to use their personal camera to take photos.

My wedding package cost: S$3,688
And add-on photo cost : S$2,000

Base on our contract, we are entitle for 35pcs photos with albums not stated clearly which type so the wedding consultant show us the basic type and kept promoting us to add-on photos. As what we saw and agreed in Suntec roadshow in MAR'10 was two different person servicing us including the art director, until today i haven't met that lady i signed package with in the shop as she mention she will appear.

I was disappointed with the wedding consultant (Showie) service and ask her for an explanation but she went off to approach her colleague to attend us. That night i have no choice but to called up art director/ shareholder (Eric) after his studio shooting to feedback about what happened in the shop.

We are not being unreasonable but seeking for fair treatment.

My next & last appointment will be on 17May'10 to finalize before i collect it 3 working days before 29May'10. I hope there won't hipcup as Eric promise he will do his best to attend our assistance and doubt personally.

Base on the contract, we are entitle for 5 hairstyles and outfits but we only manage to do 2 in-door & 2 out-door pack in a day on Easter scheduled by the shop. During the fitting i have inform them our idea location in mind will be Church, Sentosa & Clark Quay base on the Singapore map given by them. I was disappoint that we are unable to have a photo in the church as there was service going on and the studio shooting was not nature enough because i can't hold my breathe too long with the tight gown and worry anytime being expose with the loose gown. Eric clarify with me that re-shooting is free of charge. But when Eric is in oversea shooting, we were asked to go down to select 35pcs photos and we were surprise Showie told us re-shooting have additional charges and strongly recommend us not to as those photos taken is really nicely capture. As i have doubt about the agreement agreed in Suntec, i called up Eric but he sms me to approach the shop for assistance.

In the studio shooting, i have feedback them that the gowns was not adjusted to my size as what was measure during fitting the day gown was too tight and the night gown was too loose but they refuse to listen.

End of the day i want result and good compliment from my guests attend the wedding dinner to witness our marriage and also promote the shop excellent services through words of mouth.

I think i knw which shop u r talking about n i was disappointed n angry of this shop too.

DUring the Yr08 weddig show, they had a lucky draw and i got the 3rd prize = Est $800 - $1000 teadress. But i dun wan to keep the teadress so i changed it to the AD PG.

When i signed the pkg, i was told FOC o/sea PS (only pay your own ticket n accomdation n transportation). Tat time they has a group to go Phuket PS but i missed the chance due to my htb busy.

This year i have confirmed the WD, so i went down to communicate with them. Now they said different story. Go O/sea PS must pay for the PG and MUA fee, if fly taiwan (exclude own tkt,acc n trp) u still nit to pay few thousand dollars for local PG n MUA.. Htb n I were very angry (but we deposited $1k) over there... no choice so we choose to take pic in SG.

WE fixed the appt on Friday to do my 1st gown selection.. but the co-ordinator called and said tat was his off day, so postponed to Saturday and affirmed he is avail.

SO we went down to the shop as appt time. I was given only 4 gown to try..but none of them was suitable to me and neither they explained which cutting is suit me.. left me with the "lady"" trying on the gown.. Nevermind..

BUt after the 4th gown, i still have not done my selection, the co-ordinator want me to select my EG so tat other bride can use the changing room (Com'm i also btb.. i ve not done my selection yet).. He got us sit on 1 table and gave us 2 small album of gowns for us to view n select. None of it look o/stdg nor suit me (all small size and most of it is mermaid cutting).. orelse is outdated type.

ANyway, we browsed n browsed for at least 20mins..no one served us. No one come to us to provide us more info. MY co-ordinator missing.

After 20mins, my htb very angry and we just walked off the shop.. no one spot us too, or ask anything.. Until we walked to Bugis junction carpark and drove out of the carpark, then the co-ordinator called (it take him so long to realise we have left)..

My Htb complained their service to their boss, Eric, who said will call us back as he need to understand wat happen. We waited 2 weeks, he didn't response to us (even he was back from O/sea PS) nor call us to give an explanation..
Very piss off.

NOw the $$ cannot take back n coz of this i ve to delay my PS shooting..

My advise =

Make sure the BS write everything tat they said is FREE, no charges n amt they will charge (for add-on pic/ pages/ pose/ album)...

Even accessories is Free on loan..

OMG CHLOE & SMILEM, i know which shop you all are referring to cos i also tried posting the name in this forum to no avail. Somehow, they prob got the adminstrator to block out their brand/shop for who-knows-what-reasons.

i also paid 2K deposit but am utterly disappointed with their service. The initial impression was very good but subsequently when we go for fitting there is no one person to follow us thru. no initiatives...i tried couple of gowns but still couldnt seem to find the one i really like. And this guy kept showing us the same few EGs even though we expressed we didn't like them ..(asked me can try again ma..)

Nonetheless i confirmed the WG, outdoor gown, 2 EG for PS but ...still thinking if i should look for alternatives elsewhere...HELP...

Dear BTB out there,

Do watch out for the boutique shop, named W****L***.

(1)The bridal packages may appear to be value-for-money when there is a lot of hidden costs.
Every material you wish to have for your MTM gown will cost you extra, and you will never know the difference between a OTR gown & a designer gown.

(2)Service on surface may appear friendly & professional but you can sense the unwillingness/impatience when you are getting assistance for more options.

(3)No photography allowed as it is afraid of its designs being replicated by BTBs through other means. The irony is, most of their designs are also with reference from other designers. This approach upsets a BTB when you will wish to show your friends/family members on the selected gowns.

Conclusion is no "brilliant" customer service + bridal packages are not indeed value-for-money.

Thanks for sharing with us on your bad experience with this BS. This BS is very unprofessional and not service oriented too.

They shouldn't block us from broadcasting poor service shop so that all BTBs can be wary of bad service BS.

As of today, I can say I'm utterly disappointed with their level of professionalism especially when it comes to the artwork of the layout for album.

All my gowns were MTM. Got 2 contacts for MTM dresses after a whole lot of research!

Quite cheap consider the dresses/ gowns are fitted to your size. Both at Roxy Square.

i highly recommend precious moments at upper thomson.

they are reasonable and very accommodating. i think it's a pain to work with BS that always tries to charge you money for every single thing. or try to hardsell you some packages. Precious Moments was very good.

i took solemnisation dress, outdoor shoot gown, bridal gown and evening gown. no photography because I used William Chua.

Hi everyone! i'm a BTB and my AD is on 101010. I've signed up a bridal package and now almost done with the wedding album and the remaining stuff.. i'm unhappy coz the photos turned out to be ard $2,600 and my package is ard $3k. Other den the package do ask abt the photos and albums. i was told each photo costed ard $90 to develop. if i known it earlier i will not get the package! i hope everyone will not be like me and get a bill shock at the end of the day.

Hi Low,

I am currently taking a ROM package (Dress, hair, makeup, flower, photography and coffee table)from Iwedding at tanjong Pagar. So far they offered a good price as per compare to the other shops in the stretch.
The lady boss, Alice provide good services there. She made me feel relax and she take care of my worries (which is most important i.e my size). I am about size 14 and she give me a custom made dress (which usually for ROM, bridal shop dun take care of it in a small ROM package. I just saw it over the weekend and I love it and thinking of buying the dress. And most important, the price is reasonable and she deliever what she promise. Now I will look forward to my ROM in Oct'10 and see the outcome of the photos to conclude my overall experience to "very satisfied".
I believe will definately go back to her for my wedding package.

Hi hi, I agreed with Jiayan as it is very ex to pay $90 per photo!!!

I signed up at Precious Moment Bridal and for sure, their pricing is definately way cheaper and reasonable. Each piece cost me less than $50. Not only that, they provide good service and my FH and I really find them worth recommending to our friends. Thank God, I am a happy bride at PMB

The makeup artist and photographer did a good job for us and ended up I topped up to 87 photos. Had viewed the photo designs and we really love their work on our album. I am waiting to collect my album and very sure our family and friends will rave about it too. 2 thumbs up, PMB!

Hi there,

I have a good BS to recommend in JB. I have been to a lot of BS in Singapore and JB and finally choose them. Very happy with their good service. They try to understand what we want b4 the shooting and choose the gown for us rather than i got to walk around and choose by myself.

The inconvenience part is we need to make a few trip in out JB like to choose gown, AD shooting, select and collect photo. But i think is worth it if the photo is nice..

Hi all BTB if you have signed up withZ w***ing not to worri as their services were good.. From starting to choose gown Connie my coordinator was very good.. I tried lots of different gowns and she gave me lots of good advice.. I was there for 4-5hrs and she still carries a smile throughout even though I tried many gowns.. Next when it's time for photos choosing.. Louis's services was good too.. She gave us good advices too.. And when we did not take the package she offered.. She still treat us nicely and did nt give us any bad attitude.. I was there choosing photos for almost 4hrs and she still carries a smile and show no bad attitude.. Thumb up for Z... If any BTB wants to find a BS.. Z w***ing got to be in your choosing lists!!

Hi.. Not to worri.. Their services are gd..like what I had posed previously.. They hav good service attitude.. Their photographer is good too.. I got Jeffery as my photograhper and he has good attitidue too.. There was once we were late for our appointment and he did not give us attitude.. We kept on apologised to him and he kept on sae it's ok.. The rest you can see my previous post.. overall they are good.. You can consider on it..
