Advice needed: is it possible for siblings to get married less than 3 mths away?

Hi, I'm in a dilemma... Both my hubby and I have our rom this 03 June 2012 and have fixed our customary wedding to be on 14 October 2012. We have already fixed our bs and banquet...However, just receive a bad news... His sister also getting married next year... Either in the lunar October or western october... I was like... "WHATTTTTTT!" knowing my hubby's character, he will sure attend the wedding for sure and he will sure not ask his sister to change date.

I really dun understand... I thought it's common knowledge not to get married within 3 months should there be

I have a similar incident... MY HTB sister also wanted to get married the same period as we do... As our date was chosen by a fortune teller... We went to him for advice... He said cannot hold the wedding within 4 months of each other and it is better for the sister to get married first...
