Advice needed For Canceling the Wedding Banquet , Pls Help..+

Hi, I have booked a wedding banquet at one of the hotel. but due to some personal problem, I have to let go. The contract said is non transferable and the total cost of the wedding banquet to be borne by the wedding couple. I have try to discuss with the sale manager but she alway push it away.

So what should I do now? Pls help..

Maybe u can try and talk to them again telling them abt your problem and ask them to let u transfer to others who is willing to take in more tables than you? This way, the hotel will earn more then I think they may give in?

Hi Queenie, like to check if your hotel still require you to bear the total cost of your wedding banquet cancellation. We received the contract for a hotel that we are keen to go with and were shock too when we realise that have to pay 100% if we cancel 3 months before the AD. Is this clause normal? We haven sign the contract yet

The cancellation clause is same for most hotel. Mine is also the same. Queenie, you can try write in to the management and so they can review on it.

Hi all, i saw your posts in the forum and thought to email you guys.

I'm letting go of my $828 NET banquet package @ Concorde Hotel - SATURDAY 27 Nov 2010. I got this price because i booked the banquet in 2009, but me and my husband are postponing our dinner as he has been posted overseas to work for a year and we may be holding our "banquet" overseas.

The date can be changed. Minimum 25 tables. Call me at 90738300 if interested.

I will give priority to the first person who calls.
