Hi ladies,
I have been going to ***************** (home-based slimming at Bedok) like some of the customers above.
I understand that there are many 'pro-LFI' forummers here but I thought I could share another option for ladies who are trying hard to slim down.
I went to Irene @ Bedok while searching online about Aimin and LFI. I have friends who have been on both programmes before and I have witnessed their effectiveness or none at all. Personally, I have been on S factor (replace 1 to 2 meals a day) previously and in the past tried Cambridge Diet, Herbal Life, Expressions Slimming Centre, 30-mins circuit workout gym and slimming pills. Some of them worked well for me, especially Herbal Life, but the 2nd and 3rd time I restarted the programme years later, the weight loss was extremely slow.
So...after researching online about the various accupuncture slimming programmes, I decided to go for one of the cheapest programmes - *****************. I went only with the rationale that spending $480 (current price is $560 already) first beats paying $2K-$3K at one go. I was ready to jump ship to Aimin or LFI if the $480 (4 sessions) didn't work out for me. It is a risk to take because trust me, I spent days googling for Irene and her mobile number on Google in hopes to see useful reviews about her treatment.
I started after Chinese New Year and in 1 month lost about 6kg, of which 2.5kg was lost during the 1st week. I recently stopped my treatment for nearly 3 weeks because I had 3 wedding dinners to attend. During the treatment, Irene adjusted my diet plans several times as I gain weight very easily whenever I cheated. My mum joined the programme as well but only for 8 sessions (1 month). Her diet plan was much more relaxed than mine (to think she cheated very often) since she doesn't gain weight as easily as I do.
During these weeks when I stop the treatment, I lost another 1+kg. I have to admit that I cheated more often during these 2+ weeks than the 1st month of the programme, partly because I don't have to go for regular follow-up treatments AND the weariness of following a diet has set in. Who doesn't crave fried chicken, duck noodles and ice cream during a diet right??
I am resuming my treatment this week and am confident I will lose more inches and weight. To be frank, I wished the weight loss could be more but I am so far happy with the inches lost. I have lost 3 inches off my waist in 1 month, 2 inches off my hips, 1 inch off my bust (my back has lots of fat). Even the staffs at my bridal boutique are amazed by the quick results!
I am happy that I found a treatment that works for me. Oh! I should add that I have been on a fish soup (without beehoon) and salad (with balsamic vinegarette dressing only) for 2 months prior to starting the treatment with Irene. So, I am not one of those who lost alot of weight due to sudden decrease in food intake. Therefore, if you are the type who loses weight easily once you eat carefully, I'd say by all means just save the money, go on a healthy diet and exercise!
I still believe that different treatments work for different people. During a week when I plateaued (no weight/fat loss), Irene also suggested that I perhaps stop her treatment and rest OR try out TRA or other short term slimming treatments, then think about whether I want to go back to her again after that break. So, if you are planning to spend $$ on slimming programmes, I would encourage you to give her 4 sessions of $560 a try!
