FYI: COMPASS stands for Composers and Authors Society of Singapore..
They help Songwriters and composers to protect their music rights and help them to collect royalties...

For events such as weddings, licenses/permits are usually obtained by Hotels, Restaurants or Event organisers for the rights to play soundtracks...

For your friend's case, I am in no position to give any comments but I could advise that you can check with the respective hotel/restaurant about this issue... If yours is an outdoor event, check with your Event organizer =)

And I hope that your friend's case has ceased and everything is well...

Han Siong and Harry were fantastic!! super good team work. our jiemei and buddies and ourselves had a lot of fun with them!!

and we have been constantly receiving good feedback about the pictures and video taken. all are great! hansiong caught a lot of natural shots which had a wow factor (at least to us).
