Hi all, I had tried to request a quotation from A&D thru their website and email them but never receive any response from them. Is it that they don't entertain email enquiry or do I have to go down personally to ask for a quote?

i got my quotation on the spot when i visit their office. actually i have send a request via email but no reply, so we call to make an appt to go down.

Thanks Elaine and Jean for the replies. I still haven't gotten a quote from the ID. I think I'll wait till next week, and compare whatever other quotes I have on hand and just make a decision since I do have a few good ones already. If A&D sends the quote,then ok, I'll take a look too, otherwise, I might not follow up with them. For the fact that I made an appointment and personally went down to discuss for a quote, this kind of response seems like they're too busy and not keen to do my business. Quite disappointing after hearing the good reviews. Will update if I hear anything from them. Thanks girls!

Though i have not signed with them, but so far my ID's response to us are very fast including viewing of their completed flats.
ID also gave lots of ideas to us and very patient (we asked a lot of qns =P) with us too...

OH forgot to add that they are one of the few IDs that showed us 3D drawings of their concepts before we sign anything...

I just went down to see Louis from A&D. Then the follow day he wa to visit the our hse so that he can have a better idea/view for the unit. His service is so far so good, I still havent received his quotation yet cos he just visit my hse yest. Hope I can have it soon. Btw, mine is a 5 rm flat.

Anyone got other better ID to intro while waiting for him?

I just got my quote last week... he quote me 16K for a 5rm resale flat. That include, no changing of tiles of the living room, changing of tiles in all the 3 room, kitchen tiles change, kitchen cabinet change doors (total of 23 nos.) a feature wall for the LCD TV. Dismantle charges... both toilet change titles, sink, toilet bowl. No painting included.

I dnt kw what other might think, but i feel that a ID should tell us the good and bad ab things we wa to do. For A&D, he didnt tell us. I went to U-Home a ID tell us ab the thing we change, the gd and the bad pts.

I have already see 3 ID now waiting for other 2 more quote. Any other ID/contractor to recommend?

Hi peeps

I just came across this thread and thought I'll share my experience. Our house is also done by A&D (carpentry only). ID is Louis. His service is VG! He is friendly and always open to suggestions. We liked their workmanship very much. Esp the onsite carpenter. Our carpenter is Tony. He is terrific.

For us, we also had a fish tank+carpentry done by another carpenter. Using the same laminate. There is a big diff with the workmanship. A&D is so much better. Naked eye cannot tell the diff in workmanship. All looks the same. But sense of touch will reveal the truth.

One thing we like about Louis and Tony is their positive attitude. They hardly say no to our requests and changes.

Of course, we give and take. We don't press them till they bleed too. Haha!

Congrats on getting your new flat soon. I live in Sengkang too - Compassvale.

My quotation from A&D is only on carpentry as we had another contractor doing the masonry work.I will check with hubby where he saved the quote. I will send you pics if I can locate them in hubby's laptop. (the nice ones esp)

In the meantime, i wish you all the best in doing research/quotations ! They are all painstaking efforts everyone put in.

my total reno is 30k. the toilets are ex - bout 8k for both (excluding the sinks, toilet bowls, taps etc.) but HB and I couldn't stand the original toilets, so no choice but to overlay.
