3 mths before & after your AD Wedding

Anyone abide the rules of 3 mth before and after your wedding you cannot attend another wedding as afraid might "chong xi" ?

A friend wedding just fall within the period not sure if i can go or not.

it's up to the parents and tat dun wanna felt bad if things happend and got blamed juz cos we didnt obey the 3 mths rule...planning mine after the 7th mth but HTB good fren's is in mid dec so after calculating we got only 10 days time frame to pick our dates..if not we wont be so squeezed liao

If that is your nice friend than you have to go to there wedding. In-fact he fell good when you go to his wedding.

hmm... my mom say it's 4 months.. i think different people have different standard, some say within 100 days cannot attend. most people will err on the side of caution and try not to clash, but really depends on whether you and your friend is "pantang" about it..

Hi all
i have the same issue too.
my close friend is getting married on Oct, and i plan to have ROM on late Oct as well.
but i am not singaporean,hokkian or tewchou, so i hope it is fine. really wish.
was trying to look for someway around.
