on my personal opinion, if have tight budget why nt get a contractor instead of ID... it's alot cheaper.. if u already have in mind the concept u want, go for contractor

i encountered a no of IDs who cannot deliver & yet quote a high px... they ask us of our preference & we told them our idea... turn out the design they created for us is so normal.. i mean if the design is a designer's concept then i think everyone can be a designer

If you have tight budget or you have some idea on your mind, You can show to contractor on what you want. They will able to advice what can or cannot be done and you can save a lot of money on it. Rather than go to ID as they will sub the job out as well.

It depends on what you want. It can be as low as $10K or as high as $200K (which I've heard but dead as ridiculous to me). I got my keys a few months ago and got nine quotations. All minimum $38K. Then again, I'm doing everything I can to change the entire look of my 5-room resale.
